The staff members are so helpfull and have really good customer relations nothing too much for them very customer focused

Clark’s Bishop’s Stortford - first class service from Emily. Made the school shoe buying so much easier this year. Not only is she lovely but she’s very knowledgeable about fitting the shoes and great with the kids. What an absolute star.

I went into this shop with doubts, knowing that my daughter has very specific tastes and wider fit, which made me think we'd struggle to find something suitable- and I must admit I expressed this to the shop assistant, Emily, who wasn’t phased at all. I was blown away by the efficiency and professionalism of Emily. She managed to find the perfect pair in no time, and my daughter is very happy with the fit and style! I'm so impressed with how easy and stress-free the whole process was. Before I’d bought ill fitting shoes, which didn’t last more than a term. These have a better quality sole, and so I feel the money has been well spent on a pair of shoes that will go the distance with my daughters walk to school. Thank you Emily, you’re a star!

My daughter has DS, she’s 14 but has a small but very wide foot with a high instep. To add to that she can only have a Velcro shoe.
We have always used Clark’s but after an appointment with our local outlet store ended with a lot of upset, understandable after trying on 20 pairs of shoes and walking away empty handed, we then tried a big store not an outlet near us which sadly ended in the same result.
A few days later I called our local store, in Bishops Stortford and spoke to a lovely lady, Lucy who said they had a large delivery due in and to come in after that.
I randomly decided to go into the store although I hadn’t booked an appointment which I had for the previous 2. The store is on 2 levels, children being downstairs.
There were 2 staff on and it was very noisy and busy. I went upstairs to the adult section where there were 2 staff and only one customer and explained our situation. Shelley was amazing, asked my daughter her name, went downstairs and came back up with a few boxes, the second pair being a possibility but the third pair were perfect. We had gone up in the shoe length and down in the width but they fitted perfect. Debbie who I think was the manager came and double checked and was lovely also.
So so happy to put a smile on my girl’s face today!

Lucy from Bishops Stortford helped measure my nephews feet, she was very patient, very knowledgeable, and worked so well with my nephew. i’m so glad we had her serve us. :)))

What a lovely experience I had! The staff were ever so friendly and helpful. What made the great experience in there today was the conversations and humour that they had with me.

Gurdeep is so helpful and patient she’s a real asset to the store. She also held the shoes as I had forgotten my discount voucher which was super-kind.

Finding shoes in the sale that I liked but didn’t quite fit (with my customised insoles, Gurdeep was amazingly helpful in sorting out a pair that were perfect (wide shoe option + leather half soles). VERY VERY happy. Thank you Clarks Bishop’s Stortford and Gurdeep in particular. Nothing beats the face-to-face experience.
