Myself and Wife visited the Eastbourne…

Myself and Wife visited the Eastbourne store and I don’t normally do reviews but the experience myself and wife received was unforgettable.
We entered and were greeted by a wonderful friendly lady, slightly confused and thinking we needed a ticket she kindly passed us over to Kim.
I have large feet which makes buying shoes a hard task, however Kim narrowed down what was available in the shop and brought me a couple of pairs, the first pair was a win straight away so she had the sale.
But what make this one of the best shopping experience we have encountered was her time a patience, it was visibly a very busy day (we didn’t think about the time of year) but Kim put 110 into us.
We had great conversation on family and life which was my doing as I asked about Kim’s tattoos on her arm, but we didn’t feel rushed and we left that store with such admiration for this young lady.
Keep going Kim, you are a credit to Eastbourne but most importantly your family.
Thank you for your time and compassion to myself and my wife.

Had amazing service from a lovely young…

Had amazing service from a lovely young lady (Belle), her customer service was outstanding, what a credit to the Eastbourne store.
I had 3 picky children and she really went out of her way to please them and get them a school shoe they all liked.
Thank you for a pleasurable experience.

Hands down the best school shoe…

Hands down the best school shoe shopping experience we have ever had as a family and we have been shopping for years. We entered not feeling that confident in finding a pair as my daughter has autism and can struggle with shoe fitting and change, but we were met with the smiley face of Tiana. She made us all feel welcome and listened to my daughter’s thoughts on Y7 shoes. Tiana went to select lots of combos of sizes and widths and spent time understanding what was good and bad about each pair, and we found the perfect pair! My daughter loves them, and I know this is down to Tiana. This woman needs a raise! Thank you so so much, and we will be back.

Really good experience

I ordered these for collection at my local store. Ordering and collection was super easy and quick (arrived in less than the stated time). The shoes are really comfortable and look fantastic. And fitted perfectly (as expected), they're also adjustable which is a plus for me as my feet swell in the heat.

Ordered on line ref 1012055946 on Tue…

Ordered on line ref 1012055946 on Tue 8th July arrived at Eastbourne store on Thursday and picked up. Walked home and found they are size 8 yet i ordered size 9 - think i was given wrong shoes.

Been in Customer services queue now for 11 minutes and still waiting ...

Very disappointed.

Excellent customer service

I was very impressed with the customer service I received from Tiana. I was looking to buy some boots and, as the style was out of season, this meant she had to comb the stock cupboard to find ones that met my description. She was very patient and talked me through how to find the one I liked in my size on their website. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you - I wish I received the same pleasant service in all the shops I visit :)

Amazing customer service at Clarks in Eastbourne

Big thank you to the manager Justin at Clarks in Eastbourne for his caring and understanding approach to an issue I had with a pair of trainers bought for my 3 year old.

I had originally complained online through the Clarks website and wasn't getting anywhere. I now know that I should have visited the store in the first place!

The trainers were a lovely bright and sparkly design and we had my daughter's feet measured instore when we bought them. However they only lasted a few days, before my daughter refused to wear them saying they were too tight. It transpired that these shoes are not a good match for a 3 year old's feet, being too tight and stiff even in the correct size.

The manager listened to me carefully and we were able to exchange the hardly worn pair for a new pair of trainers that were much more suitable. We walked away feeling that Clarks really cares about its customers and also relieved that our money hadn't been wasted. Thanks again for your wonderful customer service!

Late & bad quality control

Made an order online to click and collect. Dispatched in two days then didn't hear anything. Five days after due arrival date phoned the branch - yes they had it but hadn't bothered to tell me. The black suede shoes were then returned as one was paler. Bad quality control.

Excellent services

I was looking to purchase comfy shoes to wear in an office after having a foot operation. It was a busy Saturday afternoon and Kimberly Gearing was helping. I had tried on about 15 pairs of shoes. My right foot is still slightly swollen so it was a challenge. Thee were others in the store and she was so helpful to all of us. She was due to leave as her shift had ended but she was determined to find me something. I did in the end and I also bought a pair of boots. I was very happy after leaving the store. Kimberly is a credit to the company and store. She listed to my needs and the service she provided was above and beyond. Thank you Kimberly.

My customer service was great

My customer service was great and the experience for myself and my little girl was amazing my little girl is 6 and has Special educational needs, The team member Tiana measured and fitted my daughter's shoes with no problem my daughter sometimes can be difficult But Tiana was interacting great with my little girl and making it fun for her I would 100 percent recommend Clark's in the future and I will be always buying my daughter's shoes from here thank you for making my daughters Visit so calm and relaxed also the lady at the door doing the booking system was very kind and welcoming i think her name was Kim.

I need to say how amazing the…

I need to say how amazing the Eastbourne store was!
It was crazy busy on Sunday, for some silly reason I thought it would be quite.
I was greeted by Kimberley and she was clearly very busy, I needed shoes for my son who's autistic and for myself, she noticed my sons discomfort entering the store as it was over whelming and directed us to an area on the adults department that was away from the crowds.
Kimberley finished up with the customers she was with and came over and personally assisted us. She was very attentive to my son and managed to find not just one pair of shoes but also some trainers which was a miracle as my son hates shopping, the relationship she built with him was one of a kind I was blown away.
Whilst we was there I asked if she was able to measure my feet to, I needed some boots and whilst sat there found a pair I liked, nothing seem to be an issue for her.
unplanned ended up with 4 pairs of shoes, had Kimberley not greeted us we may have just walked straight out, amazing asset amazing customer service Thank you so much.

Disappointing store experience

I attended a kids shoe fitting appointment for my three children. There’s was a disappointing lack of effort by the Eastbourne store staff member who served us. The style my daughter wanted was exactly the same as last year, she needed a size 2.5. I was told they only do it from a size 3 up which made no sense to me as they did it last year in size one but thought maybe things have changed. I asked about any other styles than the limited amount in the ‘older’ shoe styles, I was directed to the younger sizes as some do them in her size. Lo and behold they had the same style my daughter needed in 2.5 but in a smaller size, again I said it’s strange they do it in smaller sizes, and then from size 3, but not 2.5!

I ended up not buying the shoes then got home and found they do do the shoes in a 2.5! They weren’t in stock but that style is available in that size. I just found it so unnecessary to blatantly lie to me out of either laziness or just the hope to get a sale in a size that wasn’t appropriate. I ended up ordering the size 3 online and paid extra for insoles so they fit my daughter better anyway but I don’t know why there was a lazy need to lie to me about the size actually not being made in that style when it clearly shows it on the website.

Just a disappointing experience which showed a lack of care, honesty and customer service. I know dealing with kids all through the holidays must be trying but they’re getting paid to provide a positive experience for a long standing, trusted brand, which unfortunately was not my experience.

Lilia served me in Clarks and she was…

Lilia served me in Clarks and she was absolutely fantastic. Her customer service was excellent. She is a credit to the store: because of her, I bought a pair of shoes and felt so looked after, comfortable and confident! Well done Lilia!!!!

Excellent service at Eastbourne store

Visited Eastbourne store last week. The booking system was great and meant no waiting. We had Lilia (Eastbourne) serve us with her sparkly shoes and she was so professional and helpful. She was a natural including the children in helping them choose their shoes and nothing was too much trouble. Very efficient and prompt measuring both children's feet and made sure we were comfortable. Excellent customer service and just a delight. Thank you.

Great services today

Great services today, got a token for the queue to be measured, had a quick look around and before we knew it we had friendly advice on shoe sizing options, my daughter knew she wanted the same we had before and they had them available in store. Nice and easy don’t think we’re in the store much over 10 minutes. Clark’s are the only decent shoe retailer for kids school shoes in my opinion.
