The service provided at Clarke Surrey…

The service provided at Clarke Surrey Quays is phenomenal. In particular, Maria (a worker at Clarke) was exceptional. She attended to us with the utmost diligence, and by her actions, it was clear that her main purpose was to make us, her customers, satisfied. I have never met a worker as patient as Maria, and she really made shopping at Clarke a fulfilling experience.

Outstanding service!

We had our daughter’s feet measured with Lesley at the Great Yarmouth Store.

Our daughter always finds it difficult getting her feet measured, and Lesley took the time to interact with her before attempting to measure her feet and the experience was wonderful! She was attentive, calm, child orientated and ensured her feet were measured well.

Lesley- if we weren’t visiting on holiday, we would ensure that we would be visiting you every time we needed her feet measuring!

18 Days Without My Shoes or Refund

Extremely disappointing experience with Clarks Stockholm Quality Outlet.

I purchased a pair of shoes from Clarks Stockholm Quality Outlet on 22 August 2026. The store did not have the pair I wanted in stock, so I was told to place an online order for delivery to my home. I was explicitly told that the shoes would arrive within approximately 3 days.

It has now been 18 days, and I still have neither the shoes nor my money back. I have also not been provided with a valid tracking number or any verifiable proof that the shoes have actually been shipped or delivered.

I even went to Clarks Stockholm Quality Outlet personally on 3 September to resolve the issue. I was told by the staff to go home and wait, and that I would either receive the shoes or receive a refund. Despite this, the matter remains unresolved.

Now I am being told that I have to go back to the store in person to get my refund. I paid for a product and its delivery, not for repeated trips to the store, apologies, and excuses.

I am now being forced to pursue the matter formally and seek legal assistance in order to recover the money I paid.

Do not make the same mistake I made. Think very carefully before ordering through Clarks Stockholm Quality Outlet. Based on my experience, this handling of a paid order has been completely unacceptable and, from a customer’s perspective, feels like a scam.

Avoid this store and brand.

Great service

Great service. My daughter needed a new pair of school shoes and staff helped measure her feet and find a suitable style. They were also able to take into account the fact that she uses orthotic shoe inserts and they could suggest which styles would work with these and which wouldn’t.

Very poor quality

If you want your trainers to last more than 6 months, don't choose Clarks Pace. I have had trainers for 12 months and Clarks say the wear on the heel is is consistent with wear and tear, and not a maufacturing fault.
Given that I've had my last trainers for over 5 years I think these trainers are of a very poor quality.

Not good enough

We ordered 2 pairs of slippers on 28th July. By 10th August they had not arrived. Customer Care advised us that due to a problem on the 28th July our order had been cancelled. We decided to place orders elsewhere. Subsequently Clarks suddenly advised us that our order was on its way and both pairs of slippers arrived on two different dates. We had to send both back firstly on 16th August and secondly on the 19th August. We are still awaiting refunds despite emails saying that the goods have been received back by Clarks. Why does it take them 14 days to make a refund? Why don't they answer emails - my last on 5th September is still awaiting a reply and we still don't have a refund. If ringing customer care and talking to a real person would help we would do so, but from experience that doesn't help at all. Incidentally we were told it would be free to return the slippers but we are being charged £2.95 per pair for returning. This is not good enough.

Questionable company

Ordered shoes via clarksoutlet.co.uk website. I thought I was buying from reputable company now I'm suspecting it's a scam. Shoes supposedly sent via courier never arrived so chased via email with Clarke's and eventually told there had been a 'technical glitch' and shoes never dispatched so order had been cancelled and monies would be returned to my card within 5 days....fast forward 9 days and no refund!! Now having to raise dispute with card company for charge back!!

Further investigation shows business has 2 directors (Paul Wakefield and Neil Barrows) and according to last set of accounts is trading with an operating loss of over £100 million!! Probably explains why they are taking orders without dispatching goods then not giving promised refunds!)

Freshney Place Clarks

Viv and Harriet at the Freshney Place store in Grimsby were completely faultless. I went into the Grimsby store on Thursday afternoon to try and get my daughter some school shoes. She has very recently been diagnosed with flat feet and hyper mobility of her ankles so was feeling a little anxious and I was super stressed out. Viv was amazing with my little girl, nothing was too much trouble and she took her time to reassure her. The size we needed was not in stock so Viv phoned Louth and asked Harriet to bring the right size across on Saturday. From start to finish the experience from these two women was impeccable! I honestly could not thank them enough and I am pretty sure they have made a friend for life in my little girl. Thank you so much ladies for such a pleasant experience during a stressful time!
