I can say categorically this was the best inter-action I’ve had from someone selling shoes.
His name is Sean and he is without doubt the best salesman I’ve encountered, his inter- personal skills were staggeringly good. No request was too much trouble and all the time he was courteous and polite. I bought two pair of shoes and will be visiting Sean again. Southport is lucky to have him.

I got a lovely pair of ladies dress leather shoes in the sale, which should've cost about £80.00, but was reduced to about £22.00.

I love this shop and hope it survives amid numerous shop closures. Have been bringing my grandchildren here for 8 years and always get served by patient well trained staff who have a good understanding of children.

My order online was carried out most efficiently. I purchased a sale item and collected them in store without a hitch. Excellent value

The shoes boots sandals bought have been and carry on being stylish comfortable and I enjoy wearing them.

Sean was absolutely brilliant. One of my children has ASD and can find shopping really stressful. Sean was really kind, interactive and put my kids at ease. He told us ways in which we can come back at quieter times to make it even easier for us. Additionally, he found us shoes that were in the sale that we hadn’t seen which is extremely appreciated in this current climate. Couldn’t be happier with the experience.

Sean was amazing with the children, helping them find their ideal shoes! He was fun, friendly and professional. Great experience!

Mandy, from the Southport store, went above and beyond to help my daughter who was finding it hard to find a suitable shoe which fitted her. Mandy made her feel valued and in the end, fitted her a pair of shoes which she is delighted with. Thank you so much.

Went in for one pair of shoes and came out with two. Mandy provided great customer service and we're not surprised she has worked there for 44 years! Husband usually finds it difficult getting comfortable shoes but found them very quickly. Mandy was a pleasure to deal with and is an asset to the Southport team. No hard sell, just great customer service.

Expertise in shoe construction. Helpful staff. Offered comparative shoe types. No sales pressure.

Ordered shoes to be delivered to local store. Received regular updates and collected no problem. Love the shoes!

The reply to my complaint could have been written by AI.
It had no mention of the particular reasons for my complaint and indeed no plan to address or resolve the issues I had in store.
Poor- universally poor.

The staff could not be more helpful and friendly. I collected a pair of shoes that didn’t fit but I exchanged them for another similar pair that didn’t. The process was seem less thanks to the lady who served me.

At the Southport branch I was served by a member of staff called Mark. He was rude, condescending and had no tolerance whatsoever for dealing with children, particularly those with disabilities.

I should not have to explain that my child has a hidden disability, neither should I have to explain why he isnt following the instructions that are being barked at him, baring in mind he is only 2.

He needs some serious evaluation of his customer service approach and at the very least should show a modicum of respect and common decency to prospective customers.

I came in to store to buy 2 pairs of shoes and left with none today, how many other customers have had this experience with Mark and as a result purchased nothing?

The only silver lining where the two lovely ladies who I spoke to to air my concerns - thank you for hearing me.

Staff at Southport store are particularly helpful especially Liam
They will always order shoes in for you in various styles and sizes

I like Clarks shoes and boots and I've just purchased 2 pair of boots which I love.

Millie was very helpful and happy to serve.

I was very disappointed by the inconsistencies in size. I wanted to replace my Maui, which have worn out. So I found trainers, Hollyhock Walk, and ordered them online in a 7.5 wide. They were too narrow, and when I put the soles against my Maui they were a good inch narrower. At £75 a pair, made by the same company, I would expect consistency in sizing.
That said, the Southport staff were efficient and helpful. Just a shame that the people who manage the technical aspects of shoe production can't match them.
