I visited the Winchester store on Saturday last weekend and was assisted by Ollie.
Ollie measured the feet of my two little boys and pulled out various shoes they liked, to find the right fit for them.
Ollie was just so remarkably calm and patient throughout the whole process although my children were excitable. He didn’t rush us and was kind and professional.
I wanted to write a review because Ollie stands out at customer service and for one so young this was exceptional. Thank you Ollie and Clark’s Winchester 😊

We had such a bad experience on Saturday, I wouldn’t usually leave a review but feel I have to it was so bad. We came to get my son measured for his very first shoes and the staff ruined what was supposed to be a special milestone for us. My mum was visiting for the afternoon, so we really wanted to go together. We couldn’t get to the store until 5pm but we checked online and Google says it’s open until 6 on a Saturday so we figured we had enough time. When we arrived there were a few customers browsing the store and doors open. It was a mess in there and the staff did seem busy tidying up but no one greeted us or asked if we needed help. After a few minutes of lingering we asked for help with shoe measuring. The woman was extremely rude, started complaining about how busy they’d been and how staff had already stayed late and there wasn’t enough time. I explained we’d checked online and it said they closed at 6 and she flat out said they didn’t! It was only 5:15 at this point. We stuck to our guns and said we’d be quick, so she called another assistant over and she was just as miserable and rude. She quickly measured my sons feet, no conversation at all, then left us to it, saying if we want to try any on to come and find her. We chose a pair and she brought them to us, again just leaving us to put them on and check the fit (which we didn’t know how to do). When my baby crawled the shoe came straight off so it was clearly a bad fit. We called her back and asked her to stay to check the fit with another pair, which she did very unhappily. At this point we felt the need to rush and get out - very much feeling unwelcome and in the way. There were two guys at the till that were helpful when I wanted to pay with a voucher. I only wish they’d been there to serve us from the start.

Overall they ruined the experience for me - buying my son his first pair of shoes and getting measured at Clark’s. I’m sure the staff are trained to do better and make this feel special.

I understand they were coming to the end of what must have been a very busy day, but 1) the store shouldn’t have been closing until 6. We arrived in plenty of time so shouldn’t have been made to feel like problem customers. And 2) if a 10 month old baby is getting measured for shoes, they are clearly his first. Be a salesperson and show some interest! Represent your brand! It’s a rite of passage to get measured at Clark’s but will no longer be for my family.

After a disastrous trip to Clark's in Whiteley, I headed to Winchester store after reserving shoes over the phone. The staff went above and beyond whilst there and nothing was to much. Maddy the manager and both young males who measured and fit my children's shoes were fabulous. Great experience!

The salesperson was so helpful, and smiley. He didn’t have my size but got a different colour for me to try on, then ordered the colour in my size. They have arrived today!

Appalling service at Winchester branch. Totally ignored by the one and only member of staff on shop floor despite the fact that I was stood by the pay counter (I accept he was serving another customer but ‘il get someone to help you , Madam’ would have been appreciated.) Fast forward 5 minutes and another assistant by the name of Connor appeared from behind the scenes who then made himself look busy attending the shelves! Still no contact until I asked if I could be served! Will never use Clark’s Winchester again.

Isaac and the team were outstanding. Isaac is professional, well informed, patient, engaged and delivers customer service with care. Isaac has a friendly manner that is respectful and supportive.

We were served by Amelia on 22 August at Winchester, and she was awesome.

My son is Autistic and it is scary how many eye rolls we have encountered, from people of all professions, when we say that statement. But not Amelia.

She was kind, she was patient and went above and beyond her duty to help us. Thank you Amelia, it meant a lot and thank you Clarks for training your staff so well.

Katie at Winchester store was fantastic. Very patient and lots of advice given. Went and found extra shoes from the storeroom for us including out of season reduced ones. I find the shoes very expensive for kids but the customer service at this shop is great.

Was helped by Isaac who was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable on the shoes, an all around brilliant experience.

Mason has been serving us at Winchester Shop Clarks today, and I can honestly state that he is the best person.We are incredibly grateful to Mason for giving us a terrific discount on our four pairs of shoes, and we can't thank him enough.We always receive wonderful service and lovely shoes when we visit Clark's.They take care of the clients at all times.I strongly recommend visiting Clark's in Winchester if you're looking for high-quality shoes and excellent customer service.

The shop assistant, Amelia, was very helpful, patient, knowledgeable, and really cared about getting the right fit for my children. For my children. I was really impressed.

I was served by Katie and was looking for school shoes, she was very helpful and answered all my questions.

I wanted to buy a pair of shoes but turned up relatively close to Closing Time! However, this made no difference to Alicya, who proceeded with the utmost professionalism. She took time to measure my feet with the Brannock (my slightly cheeky request - I'm 60 years old!) and then got the pair I requested. All the time, not watching the clock!! Shoes selected, Alicia, also sold me the longer shoe horn, which was a great idea (I'm suffering with my mobility at the moment).
Please look after Alicya, shopping would be a far better experience for us impatient, slightly cantankerous men, if more assistants were like her.

Unbelievable experience in Clarks today. Went in to get a new pair of shoes for my son and omg what a wonderful team they have. The member of staff I believe was the manager name Hass. He was brilliant with my son who whilst trying on shoes and getting the right size. The store was so clear and tidy and everything was easy to find. If you’re in need of school shoes or any other footwear I would highly recommend Clark’s in Winchester.
