Called in to Monkscross today and was served by a very nice young lady called Jazz.
She was very helpful and friendly.
Wish their were more staff like her.

Shoes are very nice and lovely quality! But the packaging is terrible. Box was broken and quashed. Shoes are exposing! And the shop assistant couldn’t find the shoes when information was provided! She said nothing on the shelf!

Excellent Services

I had a wonderful experience shopping at Clarks Monks Cross for my son’s school shoes. He has really wide feet, which often makes finding the right fit a challenge. When I first bought a pair in summer before the school term started, I mentioned to the lady that it might be better to buy closer to the start of school in case my son had a growth spurt. She kindly offered to exchange the shoes for a bigger size if needed once school began.

Sure enough, by September his feet had grown, and when we returned to the shop, they truly honoured their promise. The team offered various options to find the perfect fit for my son. Special thanks to Nick C, who was incredibly friendly and patient with him, making my boy feel understood and comfortable about his wide feet.

The customer service at Clarks Monks Cross was outstanding, and their genuine care made all the difference. Highly recommend this store for anyone needing great shoes and attentive, thoughtful service.

I have a nearly two year old who has always cried when she has her feet measured - not the fault of the staff, just big toddler feelings. But Emma W was so friendly and calm with my daughter that she didn't get even slightly upset and actually seemed to enjoy the whole process. She took really care to make sure that the shoes fit perfectly and I left feeling very confident with our choice. Thank you!

Popped into Clarks without any plans to buy, but Jane’s service completely changed that. She was polite, patient, and consultative — really took the time to understand what I needed. Ended up buying three pairs thanks to her guidance. A genuinely great experience.

We were sent home from the Clarks Monk's Cross store in York with shoes that were too small. My 20 month old daughter was measured as a 6, and the wrong shoes (size 3) were boxed up for us. She was walking around in them for some time before we realised. She obviously could not communicate to us that her shoes were hurting her feet. We live an hour away from York, and asked for a refund over email. We received an unhelpful response (which appeared to have been sent from an offshore complaints centre) that suggested we took her back for a remeasuring. No refund was offered.

Pathetic customer service. We will not be going back.

I went to buy a pair of shoes for work at your Monks Cross store in York.

Me and my Mum were greeted by a lovely staff member called Jenny.

Jenny was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and I felt that there was a very positive engagement between Jenny and my Mum and me.

I was given a selection of shoes to try on and then was able to find out which ones were most comfortable.

I tried on one pair and straight away the comfort I felt was fantastic and walking in the shoes was a dream.

I purchased my shoes and also got some protection for my shoes just in case any liquids were spilt on my shoes.

I thought Jenny was fantastic and she gave excellent customer service.She is a credit to your company and I would return to your store because of the level of service that I received.

Please could this be passed on Jenny if possible as she really did go above and beyond to make my shopping experience one of the best I have ever had.
