We had the firm to replace our roof. Respectful. Quick and kept everything tidy.

We had closed cell spray foam installed in our loft by the previous owner and we were unable to re-morgage as a result. The team from Clean Safe came and removed all tiles from the outside, took away all the rubbish and provided us with a brand new roof at a very competative price. They worked hard and communicated with us and advised us at every stage. Very good value and service

Removed out foam loft insulation. Quick and efficient and great price. Great communication from guy and good value
However. When had mortgage survey done what had been paid for of removal of rubbish was not done. Company claimed it was old stuff then threatened me with legal action if we wrote an unfair representation.

Very disappointed with this response.

The survey sent was PCA compliant as requested by our mortgage company following our mortgage survey that was needed. The previous owners had the foam insulation removed incorrectly and not us. We sent over photos after you failed to turn up to the appointment to visit due to a broken down van.

You quoted which I even called prior to check you could do all in the time frame quoted. You also missed off the straw removal in the 1st quote and added this on with a second quote.

You charged us an extra to remove the straw and at no point did you state you would not remove all the foam or straw. In Fact we paid your staff direct to get rid of additional straw and foam which was collected the following day. At no point have we been told that more straw and foam had been left in the loft and hidden with the insulation.

You did tell us at the end of the job that you could not access some parts and I have not disputed this. You have however failed to remove what you quoted for and feel that sending me a threatening text is acceptable.

It is very sad you you feel a threatening threat of legal action is required before even offering a review. I can only presume you are used to unhappy customers before even considering a resolution.

Tina was very helpful sorting out someone to remove residue spray foam. Dave and his team did an excellent job and were friendly, polite, professional and cleaned up when they were finished. Thank you.

Please don't use this company.
They do not complete jobs properly and issue a warranty, even before the work was completed and without a final inspection as promised.
Do not answer texts, emails or voice mails.
This has been going on since October and now we have another contractor in to put right everything that was incorrectly done and not done.

Clean Safe Insulation Ltd fitted a thick layer of insulation to the floor of my loft. At all times they were professional and very pleasant to deal with. I could not be more pleased with the service they have provided and I would happily recommend them.

Darren and his team worked effectively and efficiently.
They were polite and tidy, always cleaning up after each day's work. They were happy to work around the occasional interruption and have left the loft looking like new but now with multifoil insulation attached to the rafters. Highly recommended.

My 72 year old father had an alternative company remove his spray foam & repair the damaged felt in May 2024 after receiving a cold call from them asking if he still had the spray foam in his loft. After he confirmed that he did indeed still have this, they told him about the dangers of not being able to sell his property if it hadn't been installed correctly. They then offered to attend his property to check if it would need to be removed. Of course they confirmed that it did need to be removed at a cost of £2,750. He went ahead & had the work completed, unfortunately he was under the impression that once completed someone would return to check it was done to satisfaction & sign it off. He then received a cold call from Clean Safe Insulation Ltd in June 2024 basically using the same sales technique as the previous company. He told them that he'd had the insulation removed, but was still waiting for someone to come & sign the work off, they then offered to send someone round to check if it had been done correctly. Surprise, surprise they told him that it hadn't been done correctly & that if it wasn't done to a certain standard myself & my sister would not be able to sell his house after he dies. Unfortunately my Father has recently been diagnosed with cancer & is taking a lot of medication that makes him very tired & confused, so when they offered to remove the spray foam & patch up the damaged felt for the sum of £3,000 instead of talking to me about it or going back to the original company he gave them permission to do the work again. Unfortunately I only found out about all of this when I visited my father in August & there was a 3rd company in his loft that had done the exact same thing that Clean Safe Insulation Ltd had done, this time they quoted him £3,250. I contacted Clean Safe Insulation Ltd & they initially sounded as though they may actually be able to help regarding a partial refund & they told me to make sure that the company that had been in the loft that day did not come back the following day to complete their work. I asked them how they'd all got my fathers details "was he on some sort of gullible person list?" They confirmed that the company that had installed the foam insulation had sold my fathers details onto companies like theirs that are now removing it. It all sounds like a big scam to me - The company that ripped people off by installing it is now making money by selling these poor peoples details onto other companies queuing up to take more money from them. I later spoke to Clean Safe Insulation regarding the work that had been done & they confirmed that they would not be refunding my father any of his money. They said that the previous company had only removed 75% of the foam insulation, so the other 25% still needed to be removed. I asked them why they had still charged him £3000 when they only had to remove 25% of the foam & they replied "If we'd been removing all of it, it would have cost him more like £8000". I suggest that before anyone gets this work done they really do their homework - Do not agree to let anyone come to your house off the back of a cold call, all these companies want is a quick £3000, they lack any morals as far as I'm concerned & every one of them has exploited my father & his situation, pressuring him to hand over his money under false pretences.

I found them to be very family orientated. They came back on request and very polite and supportive. Tina was especially helpful and an asset to the company.

I had this company come remove insulation foam from my mothers house . They did the most fantastic job . They also jet washed a slippery area on my mothers steps. Which we didn’t ask for. Brilliant lads . And left the place very clean

I can't comment on the work that Clean Safe Insulation do. This review is about their sales people. My elderly father-in-law had someone knock on his door from this company. He was told a set of half-truths about the foam insulation he was conned into having done a few years ago, and the fiberglass insulation on the attic floor. He was told: "the house will be valued at £0. Fiberglass insulation is flammable. It will be impossible to get a mortgage. House insurance will be invalid. Spray foam must be removed ASAP. Can't make EPC estimate because of spray foam." I know each of these points might have some truth about it but this seemed to be verging on scare tactics in order to secure a contract to remove and upgrade the insulation for £7-8k (he has agreed not to go ahead for now). [After reading response from company: I agree that it was a bad idea to get spray foam but the links that were shared urge caution and consideration not immediate removal and certainly not agreeing a doorstep sale for it! I suggest this company and others consider whether doorstep selling for their services is ethical. Especially to older people.]
