Client Hive is building an online marketplace to help people connect with local tradespeople for home and property jobs. Customers will be able to describe the work they need and invite interest from professionals, or search the Hive for someone who offers the service they’re looking for. Tradespeople will be able to explain their services and connect with customers seeking that type of work. We want finding and discussing a job to feel clearer and more straightforward for both sides. We’re developing the platform around useful job information, direct communication and a transparent approach to lead fees. Our planned model has no sign-up fee for tradespeople, with lead charges based on the type of enquiry. Customers will be able to post a job and hear from interested professionals, including those able to provide a quote. Client Hive is in development and is not yet open for customers or tradespeople. Our initial launch plans focus on communities in North West England, with an expected launch in 2027. We’re preparing the service, improving the experience for customers and professionals, and developing guidance for using the platform safely and respectfully. Once Client Hive is live, customers will be able to share honest feedback about their experience here. We’ll use that feedback to understand what’s working well and where we can improve.
