Great experience overall, as after 2 weeks I am able to see clearly without any pain or need for glasses.
There is however room for improvement in explaining more in details the reason for each test, explaining the results, and the various stages of the recovery process. Give more room for questions and don't make it feel that they are trivial and illegitimate.
Before the actual intervention we go through several tests on different machines without knowing why.
For the day of the intervention, I was told to look at a dot but I wish I was told more in details that it would change color, blink, that they would put liquid in the eye afterwards etc... making things more predictable can help a lot with the stress or anxiety of an intervention to the eyes which are such fragile and critical organ.
I for example had double vision or shadow image from one eye for 2/3 days while the other one was ok, which was unexpected for me.
Still I am very happy with the results and would recommand Clinica Baviera.

I cannot fault Baviera clinic for the treatment I have had from them, from the moment I went to find out what I needed to the final appointment. All the staff were very pleasant to have contact with. I went to Vélez Malaga for my treatment as it is close for me. Dr Szymon Gluszko is the doctor who treated me and I must say, he was excellent and very nice to talk too, all the receptionists were also very nice including the First Lady that helped me with all the documents, she was very patient as I am not good at Spanish but she made it easy. I cannot recommend them enough as not I don’t need ant sort of glasses and now “ I can see clearly now” this was done a few months ago and I am still finding it a joy to be able to see near and far and very clearly.

Safety warning: I was given VALEDA light therapy at CLINICA BAVIERA IN VENCIA SPAIN AT Gran Via Marquez del Turia 6 for macular degeneration without being informed of known contraindications.After one session, I experienced a neurologic adverse event and had to stop treatment immediately. My request for refund for unused sessions has been ignored raising serious concerns about patient safety.
