We offer a preceptor finder service for nurse practitioner and physician assistant students. We have thousands of preceptors in all 50 states and all clinical specialties. We charge no up-front fees and no subscription fees. You only pay us after we successfully match you with a preceptor and you accept the match. Our matching platform is fully automated. After creating a free account, you can enter your profile information, then submit as many placement requests as you want, at no cost. The system will match your placement requests with preceptors who meet your criteria and contact those preceptors on your behalf. Preceptors may then send you offers, which you may accept or decline, after reviewing the preceptor's CV.

Legit service.
The journey to become an NP is an absolute racket manipulated by universities who absolve themselves of clinical placements and money hungry NPs. It's absurd. But...we're forced to play the game.
That said, Clinical Match is one of the honest, although expensive, services out there and helped me find an OBGYN preceptor. I would absolutely use them again and highly recommend.

Makes NP Clinical PMHNP Easy
Use this company, one less thing. Being a PMHNP student is stressful enough; this company helped me find placement. In full transparency they didn't have 1000 options in my area, but the ones they had worked out fine. Great customer service, you pay -> you get a preceptor. That is the game of NP school, and we all are paying our dues to make it to practice. Would use them again!

Being a PMHNP student has been a challenge in finding preceptors who meet my schools requirements. However, I have been using Clinical Match Me to coordinate the five required clinical courses across multiple states with great success. The customer service is exceptional, responsive, and helped correct some of my own errors in timing. They matched me with qualified preceptors who will be able to offer well rounded experiences. I have been re-matched three times for one clinical rotation because each of the preceptors have asked me to do things against the contract or that were of questionable character. I am now delayed in my program over this. I would appreciate better vetting or character evaluation of the preceptors.

Although it's unfortunate that we had to re-match you several times, this actually highlights a valuable benefit of using our service. In the event that anything goes wrong with your preceptor, you're totally protected. At your option, we refund you or find you another preceptor. Therefore, while your experience was less than ideal, it's actually a testament to the value of our service.
Regarding vetting of preceptors, our process is extensive:
1. All preceptors are licensed medical professionals who've passed whatever boards are required for their specialties.
2. We check to see if they have any violations or adverse actions on their record.
3. If we receive complaints about a preceptor, we conduct an investigation to determine whether the preceptor will remain in our network.
4. Each preceptor is additionally vetted and approved by you. Prior to contracting with a preceptor, you can communicate with them via our messaging system, and meet with them face-to-face via our video meeting system.
5. Each preceptor is additionally vetted and approved by your school.
So there are five steps and each preceptor is vetted by three different parties, including yourself. Beyond that, we're not sure what else you'd expect us to do. Preceptors are human and humans can be unpredictable. Despite our best efforts, things can still go wrong. Howevr, when that happens, we make every effort to remedy the situation, as we did in your case. In light of these facts, we hope you'll consider updating your review and adjusting the rating.
