Great day out with the kids they…
Great day out with the kids they absolutely loved it and the staff were great with them
Great fun!
We decided to try out Clip and Climb at the weekend - it was fantastic! Just the right number of people (ie not too busy), and just the right length of time for the session. Our children (aged 7, 10 and 12) all really enjoyed it, as did we! A variety of challenges to try out, so you can push yourself as hard as you like. The staff were all very friendly and helpful too. It was quite expensive but we all thoroughly enjoyed it, so we hope to be back!
Really love it and such a friendly team
We are coming to the end of a 4 week 'rhyme time with clip n climb' course on a Friday morning, and both me and my 4 year old love it!
It's not just climbing, they get a story read to them, there's some singing and even arts and crafts plus a snack! Such a lovely activity away from the norm and Keeley and Rachel are just naturals with the kids.
My daughter was very nervous to even attempt to climb on week 1, by week 3 she was like a monkey!
Birthday treat gone sour...
I bought a session for a Birthday on 29th January. Due to lockdown, it was necessarily canceled by Clip n Climb. The session was over £75, we wanted to offer our son a different present that he could use during this miserable time to brighten his birthday - but Clip n Climb won't issue a refund only a voucher... and when challenged emailed me their Covid T&C and my consumers rights. A lovely way to treat customers...
possibly can't use voucher till May... and I don't really want to go there after my dealings with them. Shame on them.
Be weary of taking young children
The place looks brilliant! Also worth noting that it's very clean.
However. I took my 4 year old daughter for the first time at the weekend. She's not small by any means but the harness was too big. Twice on descending the metal part of her harness was pinching her neck and upset her enough that we had to leave just 15 minutes into the session. She's totally lost her confidence now and is too scared to go back. I did email the company and they fobbed it off and suggested taking her to the toddler sessions to use the toddler harness!
If they are advertising for 4 years and up then they should have harness's for that! The person fitting the harness should have raised the point that the harness was too big, if that was the issue. All in all it was a total waste of money for us.
I hope other family's with small children have a better experiance.
