Dealing with this company is an absolute joke as my daughter runs a small business and relies on funds to run her day to day business .
There was a dispute and without notice they removed $5000 from her business account without any explanation .
The dispute was in her favour hands down and she was promised funds would be put back into her account within a few days .
That was January ,and as of today’s date April 6 th 2026 still not one red cent has been put into her account .
This is an absolute abuse of power and no consideration or respect whatsoever for the client .
This is criminal !!
There has been no contact at all or return calls ,and my daughter reaches out every week and it is the same story!!!
If Emily did not call each week the phones would still be silent !!
I highly recommend not using this fraudulent company !!!

I was paying more than double the cost…
I was paying more than double the cost of 3 flex terminals from clover for every single terminal from a major financial institution when a client recommended clover which i hadn't heard of at the time. I have never had any major issues with Clover services in the 4 or 5 years I've worked with them.

STAY AWAY. This company is an absolute SCAM.
They robbed me of $3,000 in broad daylight. This place runs like a shell company — there is NOBODY to answer for anything. You call to complain? Crickets. You escalate? Some robot reads you a script: "Upper management has decided..." — decided WHAT? To steal your money and disappear?
No accountability. No transparency. No refund. Just a brick wall of incompetence hiding behind fake corporate language.
If I could give ZERO stars I would. Do yourself a favor and run — far and fast — before they take your hard-earned money too. I will be filing complaints with every consumer protection agency I can find until someone answers for this.
SHAMEFUL. CORRUPT. PREDATORY.

Actually the worst customer service
I've been on call with them for about 4 hours in total now.
They just love to transfer you to another agent, then hang up on you..
They sold me flex pocket but it doesn't connect with the clover duo printer, which I was not aware of. Returning it costs 20% restocking fee lol.
Tried to get in touch with the loyalty team to create a ticket since if this issue isn't solved I'm planning to switch to another company for the post system and they hung up.

Yikes. As good as Clover says they are... stay away. They are super supportive and available until they receive your banking information then they ghost you. Now it takes 6-10 weeks to get a response from a sales rep. There is no support and they are always "too busy" to help you.
Every customer support agent gives you the run around or tells you to call a different number.

I am a restaurant owner and my experience with Clover has been very stressful and financially damaging.
In 2018 I purchased Clover Flex machines for my restaurant and in 2023 I fully bought out the lease. In 2024, while opening a second restaurant, a Clover sales representative convinced me to purchase new POS equipment and also “upgrade” my existing machines.
After this, I started noticing unexpected charges related to equipment that I had already paid off. I repeatedly contacted Clover, but they kept directing me to the lease department. The lease department then told me to contact the sales representative, who eventually disappeared and stopped responding.
Later another representative promised to fix the issue and asked me to order new equipment again. He assured me the old accounts would be closed and any extra charges would be refunded.
Instead, I later discovered I had multiple active leases for each restaurant, even though I only have one set of equipment per location. I am now being told I am legally responsible for all of these leases.
No one clearly explained this when the contracts were signed. Now Clover, the lease company, and the sales representatives all redirect responsibility to each other.
This experience has caused significant financial loss, wasted time, and operational disruption during busy service hours.
Restaurant owners and small business owners should be very cautious when dealing with Clover leasing and equipment upgrades.
Ps. I send several emails to clover but never received any response.

My restaurant’s Clover terminal was stolen on February 8, and I immediately contacted their support team the same day to freeze the account and prevent fraud. Despite multiple urgent calls and follow-ups, the account was not frozen until February 18.
During that time I called support more than 30 times and had to resubmit bank documents multiple times just to update my account information. The process was extremely slow, disorganized, and stressful.
Even worse, since February 19 I have not received any deposits from my daily sales. The last deposit I received was for February 18 sales , and since then there have been no deposits at all.
For a small business, withholding daily sales deposits creates serious financial damage. Clover’s handling of this situation has been incredibly frustrating and unprofessional.
I hope this review encourages Clover to take responsibility and resolve this issu

I had really very bad experience with their Risk dept. They hold my money for more than 1 month even after providing all requested documents. Every time I have to call them and schedule a call with their Risk dept. All the time I was given false promise that they will release my money within 24 to 48 hours. I would never recommend anyone to get their services.

Scott Nguyen is extremely professional and knowledgeable. He truly cares about your business and makes the entire Clover setup process smooth and stress-free. It’s important to have someone who takes the time to explain everything clearly and supports you properly and Scott does that. If you’re contacting Clover, ask for Scott. You’ll be in good hands.
Customer service was very rude
Customer service was very rude, ghetto and childish. When I attempted to ask a question she would immediately cut me off without even hearing my question. It was clear that she did not want to talk so a couple times she would mute her line. Patiently I waited for her to unmute both times and asked for a supervisor. She said she didn’t have a supervisor. So u asked for her name and agent ID so that I’d be able to talk to someone about her service again she would mute the phone. Crazy part is she refused to get a supervisor and she refused to talk but instead of disconnecting the call she childishly muted it every time I asked to speak with one of her superiors. Another thing, although I had several questions pertaining to the company she ignored me but she made sure to chime in and respond to things that I was saying to someone in my home about her while she muted me….GHETTO at it’s finest( or worse 🤷🏻♀️🤣)

Horrible service
Horrible service, price increases, no good support!
When I signed up I was told no cost for monthly. No annual fees. Now got charged $120 compliance fees, $120 amex fees. Very false marketing. They also increased the mark up fees multiple times. Both of these fees are made up as our other pos doesn't charge.
When I got call back many weeks ago, was told they will be credited back both, and that they will call me day after. No update at all.
As per regulation reached out 4 times over call to cancel. Told will get a call back, haven't gotten a call back, been two weeks. Called again today after transferring to cancelation and retention call cut. Horrible service.

Switched business from chase and didn’t get what i was promised to get !.. called Andrew ( representative in ottawa ) ,ignored my questions and brushed me off.. not recommended at all.. wish i didn’t change.. i am escalating this , possibly to BBB if not addressed by sales management !!!!
