Problem not solved, promised guarantee not honoured
I am writing to warn others about my recent experience with Sean Bowden, who trades as Nemesis pest control.
Sean visited my home on 13 November 2025 to address a mouse problem. His initial communication was fast and professional and his assessment felt reassuring. He spent around two hours carrying out proofing work and sent 32 photos afterwards. The job cost £423, and the invoice clearly stated: “All proofing work comes with a 3-year guarantee; any issues please call me and they will be dealt with free of charge.”
However, within just a couple of days, we began seeing mice again. Since then, I have repeatedly tried to contact Sean by phone, text and voicemail to ask him to follow up under the guarantee. I have not received any responses, even though he was extremely responsive before receiving payment.
At this stage, I feel very frustrated and mislead. The money was paid, the problem remains unresolved, and there have been no indications that guarantee would be honoured. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to think carefully before using this service.
