They service Till Financial which is a terrible company. Terrible company. Terrible customer service. They refuse to close out my accounts. I have gone through hoops with customer service for months. I'm at a loss and customer service is horrendous. NOT WORTH IT!!!!!

Beware of Robinhood credit card.

These crooks are the ones who run the Robinhood credit card. They froze my account that was in good standing, claiming that I couldn’t verify my identity, which I tried multiple times over the app with different types of identification. They never reopened my account; they just closed it. I thought it was very suspicious, like they were defaulting. I couldn’t even make payments; it was very shady activity. Do not trust them.

Critical Warning for Business Owners

Critical Warning for Business Owners – Bluevine / Coastal Community Bank Froze & Closed My Accounts Without Justification

I’m writing this review to warn other business owners about my deeply concerning experience with Bluevine, whose banking services are provided through Coastal Community Bank.

At 4:00 PM on the Friday before Labor Day weekend, Bluevine abruptly froze both of my business accounts without any prior notice or explanation. This action completely shut down my business operations, including my ability to run payroll for my staff — a devastating blow heading into a holiday weekend.

After the holiday, I spent four business days on the phone with customer service, trying to get answers. I was transferred multiple times, kept on hold for extended periods, and received no clear explanation for the account holds. Eventually, one of the two accounts was unlocked, just enough to pay my employees, but the second account — containing $81,000 in cleared funds — remained locked with no reason provided.

Then, the very next day, Bluevine / Coastal Community Bank closed both accounts entirely, again without explanation, and informed me that my over $100,000 in business funds would NOT be returned. This has crippled my business, delayed vendor payments, and forced me to begin pursuing legal action for negligence and damages.

This level of mishandling, lack of communication, and disregard for the impact on a small business is beyond unacceptable. For a financial institution that claims to support small businesses, Bluevine and Coastal Community Bank have proven to be completely unreliable and opaque.

Bluevine and Coastal Community Bank — you need to make this right immediately. Return the funds you are holding and take accountability for the disruption and harm you've caused to my business.

I strongly urge other business owners to exercise extreme caution before trusting either of these entities with your money. If you rely on consistent access to your funds to run your business, look elsewhere.

Coastal is great.

I have truly no idea what all these other reviews are talking about. CCB as an entity is split between two spheres: their core bank operations (the branches which serve bank customers) and CCBX which provides services to partnerships with other financial companies (and these are unrelated to the core bank and its customers and products). Coastal does not offer credit cards last time I checked, so anyone complaining about them may be complaining about one of the partner companies that Coastal services a card for—but in those cases they are not having issues with Coastal Community Bank and have just come here to complain.

Coastal is a great community bank that has done more for its local businesses and residents than any other in the region, and it was the first in the country to provide small business loans during COVID due to its organization and training. I wouldn't bank anywhere else, and I wouldn't listen to these people who just need to complain about things they don't understand.

Do not do business with nor send money…

Do not do business with nor send money to anyone with an account at this bank. They are a "sponsor" bank for OnePay and other Fintech entities, which they claim basically claims to absolve them from any liability or customer service.

Basically the wire can say their bank name, their address, have valid account numbers etc. but they have no idea about where the money is because "they can't do anything".

This bank helps obe finance,/obe bank/…

This bank helps obe finance,/one bank/ one app scam customers and has told them to always bring up their name plus they are FDIC insured and a full legal bank when they aren't. I tried to reach out to the main office for coastal community bank in the state of Washington without any luck. I have already had to file many reports with the fbi, ftc,fcc bbb, and many others, because that is what I was forced to do buy both companies.

Shady "bank"

This "bank" that claims not to be a bank is some sort of clearing house for something called "One Card". They sent a mailed unsolicited debit card. The debit card company number goes to a call center in India who "has no fraud department", and hangs up on inquiries. Why do business with such a shady outfit.
