Is Coast Mental Health where you want your family member?

This company probably won't claim this site because they do not want the public to know the truth about them. I live in one of their supportive buildings and they have an abundance of buildings funded by BC Housing Corp. They have galas every year that further support their organization to supposedly provide care and support to those of us who have a wide range of Mental Health issues.
I am afraid for the ones who have severe issues living in their buildings because the care they provide is not good at all and even employee reviews are far from what someone would want to hear about an organization looking after your family member. They are the people who also ran Riverview and run it again and put all those people years ago out onto the street with a 100 dollar bill in their pocket and no idea how to deal with their issues out in the real world anymore. The funding they receive does not benefit us the tenants here in any way and each of us has an ever-growing file on us that is full of paperwork documenting lies about our living conditions, the work they do, and some very unethical comments made daily by staff on paper. I, as most of the tenants in any of their buildings have never given any consent to them collecting any of this information about us let alone sharing it amongst themselves and with others as they see fit. NO FREEDOM OF INFORMATION RIGHTS here. I have been trying for quite some time to get the CEO and the Federal Minister of Housing to listen to me but they just keep passing the buck or lying to me themselves about what they offer us here when I live here and I know they do not offer any of those things that they tell the public they do or the city council where I live. All of what they say they do are lies all of it.
It is very frustrating when they speak about us on their website saying we would not be able to function in this community without their help. I have been doing it on my own ever since I moved into this BC Housing funded SUPPORTIVE HOUSING. All is just make-believe what they say about their housing for us too. People downtown Vancouver live in old dilapidated cockroach-infested buildings and they turned them all into BC Housing but did nothing to make the buildings any better. Go check one out sometime. Try the Douglas Hotel on Dunsmuir St right in the side heart of downtown. You will be shocked that your tax dollars are paying for that and it is now BC Housing it is appalling and very sad. My heart literally hurts for all these people who are supposed to be getting help to have better lives and not even supposed to live in substandard housing again. Well for them it started out way below substandard and will never change, they will die living as they do because all that corporation does is pay big bucks to its staff and Upper Corporate Management that get the credit for doing such a great job and they do not care about us. They know the truth and just keep giving Coast Mental Health more contracts and more contracts and have been doing so for over 40 years. That is how long this government organization has been lying to everyone that I know of but it probably went on years before that too Anyone reading this please pass it on and let people know the truth and maybe one day this will change but it will be too late for me and all the others that think that they are moving into a place where they can grow and move forward with the help that is so needed when you come from addiction, homelessness and or have Mental Illness.
