I entered what was listed as a "competition" online to "win" a Schwartz spice rack. It was a "pick a square" game and you got so many tries to win. I won. When I clicked through, the site asked for £2.00 to cover "shipping". Pretty normal, usually, even in some competitions, which is why I didn't think there was anything wrong with it. That payment was taken on March 3rd. On checking my banking app today I found this company took a further £39.95 out of my account three days later on March 6th. On my bank statement they are listed as cobudgetcom, without any capital letters in the name or dot between "cobudgetly" and "com". I've had two emails from people at a company called Product Review Kings asking for more money to "ship" the spice rack, another from a company called RenterSurveys. Why, when it was meant to be a competition prize and the requested £2.00 had already been taken? These emails are from someone called Deboys Joy and Bedder Michael. Why is the company trying to make me pay more money than originally requested for a supposed "prize"? It just goes to show that if it looks like crap and smells like crap it will be more than likely be crap!
I went in with high expectations and this company managed to exceed them. The level of service I received was outstanding.
