While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

I put coins in the coinstar machine and the machine rejected my coins but didn't return them. I called customer service and they dispatched a repair man to go and retrieve my coins. The repair man stole 2 of the coins. I am very disappointed and I am going to put charges on Coinstar and repair man

Great except that the e-Gift receipt they give you can be hard to read. Really poor thermal printer. Had to make several guesses before I got it right, eg. the J looked like a 1. They warn you about fading.
They could EASILY print the CODE in super large lettering, which they do for other things, like the logo.
I used AMAZON e-gift and it worked flawlessly, super easy to enter and use the credit.

Do not throw your money away - literally!

Used this service for the first time and it will be the last! I took the gift card option, thinking it would work out better financially. They state it is a no fee Egift card. I chose the outback one. What was failed to be made clear is that it cannot be used online, and that all amounts have to be used at once, so basically I wasted $65. After trying to load gjft card to my outback account and place an order for over 2 hrs and 2 phone calls so im total 3 hrs without anything being resolved. Coinstar who i called twice to inform that the card balance could not be retrieved and could not be used, they told me to try again after i hang up with them. Did not work, called them back again, same thing and they told me to call outback customer service on the number they gave me, to have it rectified, once I got through to outback customer services they told me they had nothing to do with the gift card and im to call coinstar! My food that I wanted was only 15.99 so had to order food just to be wasted as no change or credit given. This is wrong in so many ways! Coinstar need to be clear and have better customer service.
