I signed up for a CoinStats because of a Holiday subscription promotion and because I experienced great customer service when I contacted them for the first time to request assistance with API connection to a centralized exchange. I’m now having the same problem but now the problem is related to issues integrating cvs files KuCoin transaction history generated by the exchange. I sent a message requesting assistance last Friday, 1/3/25 and a second one mid week this week due to no response to the previous message, and finally a third one yesterday, 1/11/25. Now that they have my subscription money, the team at CoinStats is completely unresponsive. I don’t recommend this app if looking to get a response to your inquiries and issues. Try at your own risk.

Many bugs, incompatibility with some major exchange accounts (i.e. Kucoin margin account exports) and really terrible customer support response time.
7-10 days to get an initial response when website states under 72 hours for basic support and then the rep just disappears on me with no indication of how to proceed.

Edit after CoinStats reply:
Kucoin margin account csv import is supported by Koinly and therefor possible of course. Any CSV export that has the required data can be imported.

They are scamming poeple by not refunding money for premium subscription. They are not replying via chat nor via email as they dont provide support via email. Avoid at all cost
EDIT: 2024-01-11
Basically they always say their support is overloaded, but they always comment in trustpilot and reddit saying to send email to some other email, but they never reply to these emails. None of emails sent are replied. Be careful everyone with your money as you will be ghosted. I have already initiated chargeback in my bank.

CoinStats are scammers, never trust them and delete the app, immediately disconnect any wallet you're tracking through their app for your own good.
On June 22 2024 a "security breach" or so they called it drained the wallets of thousands of users who connected their wallets to track through their apps, i was one of the affected users and it baffled me since i only remember my wallet being set to read only but every last dollar from my metamask wallet was completely drained, they pretended to care setting up a form but from there on out they stayed silent, ignoring any mentions of the breach and stolen wallets.
They might give a generic response of "were working hard to solve this" but all they do is post memes on twitter, ignoring people through the designated email and responding generically through their in-app support.
i have long accepted that its my responsibility and the funds wont be ever returned but please please stay away from them and never ever connect any wallets with them or risk losing everything big time, this isnt just the case with the breach thousands of users reported being ignored for refunds on their "refundable subscriptions", never trust them ever.

On 12-21-24 I purchased a year membership to CoinStats. I figured with the advertised 14 day money back guarantee it was a safe bet. Once I started trying to import my wallets there were 2 it wouldn't recognize.
Since I use these wallets a lot I realized CoinStats wouldn't work for me. I opened a chat and asked for a refund but 7 days passed and I heard nothing.
I started looking harder and found a page that said what you had to do to get a refund under the 14 day money back guarantee. It said you had to send an email address to the address given so I did. I received an automated response that said:
"Hello,
We are no longer monitoring this email address.
For support, please visit help.coinstats.app or use the in-app support chat, making sure you're logged in with your account."
Of course this was the in-app chat I'd already tried with no response for 7 days. I tried the chat again though and a day later received a response:
"Hello,
We sincerely apologize for the delay in our response. We've been overloaded with many support tickets and working to scale our support team. We're sorry to hear about your decision made. 😟 Could you please share the reason behind it? Let us know if there's anything we can do to help you make the most of all CoinStats features. Thanks, and we look forward to your response. Yelena"
This let me know that CoinStats did receive my request for a refund but they declined to actually refund me.
It's been 5 days since that message and I've written twice more during that time with short messages asking for a refund. I also wrote to an email address CoinStats support gave me on Reddit but that was 3 days ago and still no response.
I also found a phone number for CoinStats listed on the page where they give info on how to request a refund. I called that number but it was no longer in service.
3 customer service reps have known for days that I want a refund but nobody is doing anything to honor their 14-day money back guarantee.
Edit in response to CoinStats reply:
The reason it took hours of my time to get a refund is not the "influx of support tickets due to the market boom". If you go back through your TrustPilot reviews you will see that nobody gets decent and timely customer service help no matter the season or market conditions. CoinStats customer service is apparently terrible even in the summer bear market. CoinStats charges premium prices but then gives horrible customer service, presumably because their customers mean nothing to them and so they go year after year not hiring any more customer service reps.
Stop gaslighting everyone with this obviously false excuse. One of your CS reps knew I wanted a refund and yet still refused to give it to me until I had spent another few hours writing chats and emails and leaving negative reviews like the one above.
It appears that CoinStats hopes that customers will just give up trying to get their refund because it takes too much time and energy. I only kept at it out of principle and so I could share my full experience to warn others before they too got scammed.
I will certainly not reconsider my rating and would change it to zero stars if that was an option. It just doesn't get any worse than CoinStats.

Values are not imported for small caps crypto.
The documentation is missing.
Customer support is not able to respond because is short staffed
The company lists an email address on its website for customer support but that email address bounces.
They do not explain any of these experiences when they run their advertising and influencer marketing campaigns.

Zero customer service ... I signed up for one year of Premium service 13 days ago, with the expectation of a 7 day free trial. Importing my existing crypto transaction failed that same day, and I provided details and request for assistance that same day on their online chat. No response. Every Single Day since then I have posted again on their online support chat ... changing my support request to a Cancel and Refund request 4 days after opening the account, well within the 7 day trial. Every day since then, for another 8 days now, I have directed them to Cancel my account and Refund my payment. I have NEVER seen any form whatsoever of any response from them. Hopefully my credit card company will honor my dispute for that payment, which was also filed within the initial 7 day free trial period, along with screen shots of all the key history of my failed efforts to use Coinstats.app.

Glad I checked with Trustpilot first. Was contacted on telegram that I had funds on blockchain and they could retrieve them for me for a fee. Told me to check with Coinstat support on Telegram. They said I had 12.92 BTC which they retrieved and added to my Coinstats account. The funds were added manually. After reading a bunch of reviews here, I see Coinstats doesn't do support on Telegram and manually added funds are a scam. Saved myself $850

I regret to say that my experience with Coinstats has been deeply disappointing.
I initially activated a trial period by linking my card, and when the trial ended, there were insufficient funds for renewal. Later, I purchased a subscription during the Black Friday sale at a discounted rate. However, despite reaching out to the company via email to request that they stop attempting charges on my card, the system continued to process payments.
After funds were eventually deducted for a subscription I already had, I contacted their support team multiple times through their website and once via Discord to resolve the issue and request a refund. Unfortunately, it has been a week, and I have received no response.
I understand that mistakes can happen, but ignoring customers' concerns for such an extended period is unacceptable. I hope this review will encourage the company to address this issue and improve its support processes.

The product doesn't work! I attached my api keys and its not taking my cost basis for each coin. I've been reaching out to the customer service team and they are barley responsive and not helpful. I get one reply back every 7 days. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
