Great Service from the guys at collecting cars

As a collector, I have sold 4 Porsches through Collecting Cars over the last 18 months. However, I am now forced to doubt their impartiality in their auction process. A recent dispute has resulted in their representative describing the successful bidder who refused to complete the purchase of another one of my cars as their "client". Forgive me for believing that, under any circumstances, the seller is the client and the rules of auction should be enforced, no matter who the bidder is or how many cars he may have previously bought. Excellent and efficient service from Oliver Valentine, from the initial consignment of my vehicle right through to its final sale. Communication was outstanding throughout the entire process, and I was kept fully informed at every stage. Oliver made the whole experience seamless and stress-free. I was in two minds whether to list my registration with either a registration specialist or use Collecting Cars. I'm very thankful that I decided to go with Collecting Cars. The process was super simple, efficient and of no hassle. Andrew Webb my consignment specialist called early and was very informative, set my expectations and was a pleasure to deal with. Andrew confirmed the reserve for my listing and I achieved a very, very strong result which wouldn't have been achieved with a registration specialist at all.
The service received from Collecting Cars and Andrew was second to none, I simply followed clear instructions and let them do what they do best. When my listing finished I received confirmation and detailed instructions on what the next steps were.
The no sellers fee was a massive draw for me and you really do get the "sale hammer price" sent to you! Thank you very much Collecting Cars and Andrew for a professional service and making my registration sale a simplistic transaction!!

Given great advice by Collecting Cars advisor Hugh Adam’s on possible value and given that a reserve was not possible. However in the event the car made more than my thoughts on a possible reserve price and indeed exceeded my expectations. There were slight technical difficulties with the site through the auction period which were resolved quickly and efficiently. All in all a great sale experience and bearing in mind I had previously bought a replacement vehicle I am more the happy to confirm my positive views on both purchase and sale. Very worthy 5 star review 👍👍👍

Just completed a purchase on Collecting Cars would just like to say how fantastic and smooth the whole process was Ethan fantastic. They even called me after my purchase to make sure everything was to my satisfaction the communication between myself and the seller was absolutely spot-on fantastic easy transaction.

Samuel Nicholson from Collecting Cars looked after me when I sold my Aston Martin Dbs. He kept me informed through out the whole process .From the start to finish it’s been seamless, no effort from me was required. The platform really works well, they came and took photographs and then went live with the 7 day auction. All through the auction week and especially the final day and hours they were attentive and responsive to the changing situation with recommendations.Also I must mention how honest Sam and his team were always available with advice and guidance about even about the after sales process.

The team members I was predominantly dealing with were professional; supportive, and generally seeking the best outcome to my listing on the day of auction

Dealt with Fynn on the sale of my car and he was brilliant from start to finish. Always proactive, never had to chase for updates, and he made the whole process really straightforwar, overall really impressive. Easy and smooth transaction, customer service team were helpful readily available to answer any queries.

Communication was great up until I paid the mandatory photography fee, then nothing. I had to chase repeatedly just to get the shoot booked, delaying everything by weeks.

The photos came back well below the standard I’d expected for a premium auction listing, so I contacted them to request a reshoot. I’ve reached out multiple times since via email, WhatsApp and phone with no response. Months of wasted time and no progress.

I’ve now requested a refund - I won’t hold my breath. Save yourself the time and stress, and go elsewhere.
