Ordered some satin ribbon on Monday and got Tuesday morning. Really happy with the price and the quality.

After a bad experience twice from my supplier I decided to look around and so glad I found this website. Ribbon is absolutely perfect and great quality. Delivery was superfast the whole process was so easy. Will continue to use and highly recommend.

I placed an order and paid for next day delivery. Despite getting messages from the courier (DPD) advising it would be delivered the next day, it was not.

When I queried this with Colour Ribbons I was advised the parcel was not collected in time, which contradicted the courier tracking information.

I later telephoned the company to explain and was told I was one of 200 parcels not collected and not their responsibility. The courier advised they do not guarantee next day on the service the company selected. I explained to Colour Ribbons that, if they cannot guarantee next day delivery, they should not be offering it. The person I spoke to said they know DPD cannot be relied on. When I asked why they don’t change courier in that case, he did not respond.

I queried when he was aware the parcels were not going to be delivered next day, the company should have contacted customers who selected the service to advise. The person I spoke to, who I think is the company owner, still maintained it was not his problem, whinged about how over-worked he is, problems with staff shortages, that he has shipments 4 months late and I should be grateful mine will only be 3 days late, how many other orders he had (which given the number of people struggling at the moment with the pandemic, makes him very fortunate), etc, etc and then told me he had 199 customers whose parcels were also late but did not complain, just me who was moaning. He said that he could retire rather than dealing with unhappy customers ... basically, zero customer service skills!

He demonstrated no appreciation that there was a reason for selecting next day or my frustration that he had sold a service he could not guarantee. There was no acknowledgement that I had been let down or that I had a valid reason to be upset that I had paid more that I needed to.
