I paid Coman £281 in July 2025 for a Kickstarter product that I never received. They even admit that I never received it in an email. I have left them more than 32 comments on Kickstarter, I have sent them over 21 emails, and I've messaged them via their website chat numerous times. They initially responded a few times making promises that they would fix this but they never actually refunded me and then they just ignored me for MONTHS. After posting negative feedback in the last few weeks they have finally replied, but instead of just doing the right thing and providing me with a refund they then decided to hold my refund hostage and they said they will only give me a refund if I remove all negative feedback. They are deleting my comments from their social media to censor me. Now they appear to have changed their mind about refunding me because I'm taking legal action but they are saying they can only refund me via PayPal which is really suspicious especially as Kickstarter confirmed to me that there's no reason why they can't refund me via my original payment method regardless of how long ago the Kickstarter campaign ended. Since then they have made excuse after excuse as to why they can't refund me and they have consistently tried to hold my refund hostage in exchange for removal of the negative feedback I have left for them which is something close to extortion or blackmail.

To anyone out there thinking of buying Coman products; do yourself a favour and have a look at other people's negative reviews on trust pilot and in the comments of the two Coman projects on Kickstarter. They owe me £281 and I'm not the only one who is hundreds of pounds out of pocket.

Bought a 500$ Tripod from them on Kickstarter.
Quality is AMAZING. The level of detail and how well thought trough it is, is just top tier. For tripods, they absolutely are the best in the market.

I was a little hesitant ordering here because of the other reviews. But after contacting the site about taxes and shipping, it seemed quite legit.

I have looked at a LOT of tripods, and I came to the conclusion that most of the high quality “Chinese” travel tripods are made by Coman. (Ulanzi, Neewer, Smallrig) But Coman itself had a model that had everything and then a little more, the Coman Light H Pro.

All this at a better price than all the rebranded ones, paid around €180.

The quality of the product is very good and I am very impressed by the quality. But more impressive is that the shipping was extremely fast. Only 5 days from China to The Netherlands! And no additional taxes or duties!

Don’t be discouraged by the other reviews, my experience has so far been very positive.

Took my money 22 days ago. Never received my $400 order. When tried to track thru fedex found numbers were bogus. This company is a scam. Avoid like the plague. Customer service is non existent.

Placed my order on 21Nov 2025 and have got no email.
To my surprise on paypal i found the email id to from 123.com which is a fake email id
