Sam was absolutely amazing

Sam was absolutely amazing. From doing the work efficiently and swiftly to going the extra mile. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Would definitely recommend.

If you could rate -1 star I would

If you could rate -1 star I would , they came to service a boiler in November 2025 , was told there was work that needed doing so agreed , every appointment since then there has been an excuse , - part hasn’t turned , - van has broke down need get a hire van then still turn up in a normal van , - engineer is off sick ( didn’t realise only hired 1 engineer ) , - parts still not arrived ,
Then after leaving it for 2 nearly 3 months our boiler did break as it was left running off the immersion heater and was left with no hot water an interment heating for a full weekend with a 6 month old baby…… then came out and said they are back Wednesday but surprise there is no part, running off the immersion heater all time is costing me nearly £300 a month in bills so just great …….. I’d avoid like your life depends on it !!!!

Fantastic service yet again

Fantastic service yet again following my 2024 boiler annual service, from getting in touch with Karen who was so helpful and the engineer Jay who I met last time and was very professional, knowledgeable and his customer service is a credit to the organisation. I have already requested to be placed into the diary for 2026, I highly recommend this company thank you Combi Dr 🙌🏻

Gas certificates x 30
Poor failure rate always on hunt for more work .
Uses terms like intermittent fault to cover themselves where you where to belive them and use another engineer.
Failed a flue for being too small this week on a rental property thats previously passed many times with this flue previous .
Will have to send another engineer now to do the gas certificate.

Wouldn't have given any stars if it had…

Wouldn't have given any stars if it had been possible.
Used them 2 yrs ago and the engineer left us with a hidden leak which only became apparent after about 5wks because it took that time for the upstands to start swelling and on further investigation by my husband he discovered this hidden leak.
We were back and forth to the Golborne site but could never have a face to face with the boss.We showed them pics of the damage and explained several times why the leak had not been apparent until too late.Were told that the engineer who'd done the 'maintenance'had left... don't know what that had to do with anything.
Invited the boss to come and look at the damage several times...he wouldn't. We produced an invoice on the cost of putting the damage right and were eventually told because it had taken 5wks to report,we had no chance.
Today I've had a call from said company saying we owe them £48 from that incident...2yrs ago !
Obviously we've never used them again and nor would we recommend them to anyone.

Outstanding services every time!

Outstanding services every time we use Combi Doctor. We’ve used them for the past year and alway had great customer service and advice. All work is done to a high standard and competitively priced. Would highly recommend them! 🙂

Watch yourself, get everything documented.

Very dissatisfied with the communication with this company I would seriously avoid. Agreed to an hourly rate, engineer came and despite unexpected difficulties completed the majority of the job within an hour. But required three bricks to fill a gap in the wall.

The engineer said it would take minutes but as he had another job soon he would pop back at some point later in the day to finish off.

The office called to confirm that as there was extra work I was still happy to stay on the hourly rate and as I had been told it was just minutes and was at an undetermined time I assumed it would be at most an extra hour.

The bill came to three hours as they continued to run the clock until the job was finished essentially meaning I paid over £100 for 3 bricks to be put in.

At best poor communication (no sane person would agree to paying that for such a small job) at worst deliberate dishonesty, and that isn’t the only concern but I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

Absolute cowboys

Absolute cowboys. Avoid like the plague. Came to service my perfectly functioning boiler and suddenly while they were here it mysteriously developed terminal problems. Amazingly there was a spare one in the van that could be fitted as the engineer had no other job. I rejected the offer and got someone else in.

There was NO problem with my boiler at all, completely made up to flog me a new one. Avoid at all costs (still demanded I pay for the “service”)

We recently got the guys at Combi…

We recently got the guys at Combi Doctor to help us out with a gas test on a property we’re in the process of buying and they were also able to recommend an electrician for us to do a ECR. They have been nothing but helpful and accommodating and are reasonably priced. We were having some problems arranging a date for one of the appointments but they were patient and happy to deal with the estate agents on our behalf. We will absolutely come back to them if we need any work doing & would highly recommend them to anyone who asks. Special thanks to Karen (Linda 😉) who is an absolute credit to them answering all my questions patiently along the way even when I managed to get her name wrong!
