Good but

As a Giffgaff customer for many years i am very happy 😊 with the service, when I had a problem they were fantastic, one of their agents solved the problems extremely fast.
The low score is due to the community forum which is hostile to new postee's. Otherwise I would have awarded 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Poor customer support

I have been using the service on their month to month rolling plan. I ran out of data and I added credit of £30. The credit top up did not work. I then enquired with customer support ( which is only via messages , there is no way of speaking to anyone). The other frustrating part is that the customer query is closed by support team without the right to reply to carry on the conversation. The service is cheap and I guess it true what they say " You get what you pay for".

Calls stopped working whilst abroad.

Stuck in Singapore due to a medical emergency our phones suddenly stopped being able to make or receive calls. We desperately needed to be in touch with our travel insurers. Also we found we had a lot of accidental roaming charges due to the way GiffGaff is set up for automatic roaming, which we were unaware of. Despite massively topping up our credit we still couldn’t make or receive calls. GiffGaff members offered suggestions that didn’t work. Contact with an agent only got the response they couldn’t help because we were abroad. The contact an agent process is a nightmare, requiring entry of strings of numbers from the About section on our phones settings. Awful service. I intend moving to a more helpful service provider once my massive credit is used up, assuming our phones start working again back in the UK.

Disrespectful company! Problem canceling my account and they continue to charge payment!


I've been trying to cancel my account since January and it's been hell to do so.
I tried a thousand times to cancel and withdraw my bank account from the website and they made it impossible. They've been charging me since January and they make fools of themselves because they don't understand that I simply don't want the service anymore!!!
Customer support is useless and I can't find a simple and basic solution to cancel my account!I don't use it!!
So, I do not recommend this disrespectful company!

SIM DID NOT WORK CANCELLED AND STILL CHARGED

Got a sim card in September paid for 1 month. Sim card did NOT work so cancelled. Giffgaff have taken another payment in October and "Cancel Contract" has also taken a payment????? Tried Resolver and Giffgaff kept asking for phone number and wanted a copy of my passport????? Now telling me to go to my bank for an unauthorised payment. If they took money out they can put it back in. Sound like a load of Morons. Never again!!!!

GiFF GAFF AGENT THIEVES HAVE FINISHED MY 80GB DEAL TO EARLY?

On the the 4th of October I put in My £20 Pound Top Up Voucher for the 80Gb. Of credit in the Goodybag deal? Today! The 24th Of October! I received a Message from a Giff Gaff Agent! Saying that I have used up all my Credit? Which is virtually impossible. Officially "use it or lose it" is a complete month kind of a thing!! Well in the duration early in this Month!! Giff Gaff Agent Thieves have robbed me?

Rubbish Company

Rubbish Company. Avoid at all costs. Cheap in as much as the service provided is ok until you want to raise a problem with them. Fail to answer problems. Now cancelled my contract.

Giff gaff SUCK

Giff gaff are disgraceful! I have bought a 5g phone AND updated the app to enable 5g, yet still no improvement whatsoever.the data speed is completely unacceptable so this will be my last month (2nd month please please please AVOIDat all costs

giffgaff...Problem Solving

Although I have only been on giffgaff for just over a week now I am thinking of going back to a network with an actual call centre with real people with whom you can talk to live.
The Value for money is great for data on pay as you go but the helpline or lack of it is rubbish (in my opinion)

I am not very pleased with GIFFGAFF

I am not very pleased with GIFFGAFF, I have had no service on my mobile for 4 days, I have contacted them 4 times but had no help whatsoever, So I have decided to change provider to see if things can be improved, I thought Giffgaff would be more help but how wrong could I be, they are all talk but no action

Giff Gaff customer service ZERO

I am sick of not being able to get any problems resolved, you post on a community page and then wait for an answer, I have three phones with them, and trying to top up is now impossible as the passcode that they say will be sent to verify that it's me does not arrive, been in touch with TESCO mobile sim only deals and will move all three phones over, Im sick of no customer service from Giff Gaff.

Big joke

Been with this network for a few years had a few problems but resolved myself. This time my data is being throttled so its basically unusable after buying the always on goodybag for £25 i get data speeds of 0.40. Resulting in a waste of money
