Better price on the coffin I wanted than elsewhere but the information, assistance and ideas surrounding how to do a funeral was invaluable. Service were swift and tailored. Thank you for your time and advice at a difficult moment.

Steve went above and beyond to help me with my request. He kept me up to date and was able to send my coffin very quickly. Cannot recommend a better service. Item was also very reasonably priced and was made and shipped in a very fast matter. Coffin was made with superb wood.

I'd recommend Compare the Coffin to everyone! I'm a funeral celebrant and I know how important it is for bereaved people to be treated with kindness, warmth and practical efficiency - and Steven couldn't have been more helpful. Hopefully I won't need it for a while, but I'd decided to order a coffin for myself and keep it in my flat until the time comes for me to be buried nearby on my daughter's farm. Delivery to the Scottish Highlands was slow, but in the circumstances this wasn't a problem - and I think Stephen was more concerned about it than I was! The quality of the coffin is brilliant - thick cardboard, sturdy handles, good biodegradable lining.

Comparethecoffin.com were great. They have a really beautiful range of eco coffins . We choose a bamboo one . The info, the ordering and the delivery to the funeral directors was efficient easy and on time . And our coffin looked wonderful covered in flowers in the chapel . Vewry happy to recommend .

After choosing a very professional Funeral Director and being given a quote for a casket, I thought there must be a way to source this same high quality product for less. I made several enquiries to companies I found on-line and after speaking with Steven from Comparethecoffin.com I knew his was the most competitively priced. Communicating with Steven was easy, he was very helpful and he delivered the product as described on time. Great service - I'd highly recommend.

My brother passed between Christmas and News Years, not the best time to go as everything is shut or in that weird limbo phase.
I was unsure about ordering as I was worried about being taken advantage of. Stephen was so good at explaining the company and letting me have time to decide with no pressure. Everything was done at my own pace. He was very responsive with any queries and concerns. Everything was organised efficiently despite the strange timing. The factory unfortunately was shut until 4th Jan and my brothers funeral was set for the 9th. I was so worried about the timescale for getting it made and delivered to me.
Stephen was reassuring that the coffin would arrive in time for the funeral. Even when I called him 3 days before funeral panicking, he remained calm and said it was going to arrive in time and not to worry. It arrived later that day.
It was perfect for my brother who was a total Dr Who fan so the tardis coffin was perfect.
Everyone commented on how perfect it was for my brother.
I would recommend using this company.

The only issue I had is the extra cost for getting it delivered to me in Elgin Scotland. Stephen said it was not to do with them but the couriers that they use that set the charge. I do understand this but it's so frustrating as we are mainland Scotland. Too many companies charge this excess.

Despite that I would use again and my parents have looked and picked ones that they like.

The service was excellent & very kind & compassionate.
Initially the call was handled as a "trade/wholesale" as a "private customer" was unexpected (?)
It worked out as a "little normality" at a difficult time & nothing was too much trouble.
