Unlocking the Power of HiveCompute: My Private Beta Experience for Small Businesses

I recently got access to the private Beta of Hivecompute and tested the platform with my AI models, compared to other providers I have used in the past looks by far the most stable and easy to use as well as has the ability to scale it up or down based on my needs. Even though I am not paying at the moment what they showed to me is very convenient for new startups and SMBs like myself. Overall I highly recommend it and can't wait to see what they will offer more.

Good source of RTX 4090 GPUs for AI/ML needs

Pros: - Super quick setup
- No BS/straightforward pricing
- Fast cold starts
- Reliable machines
- Good internet connectivity

Cons: I thought the out of the box image was a bit basic - just Ubuntu 24.04 w/CUDA. It was fine as I could quickly download and configure what I needed, but I would have appreciate some pre-packaged images.

The team replied and let me know they are quickly going to add some more.

Overall: It was really simple to get started and use hiveCompute for my ML/AI needs. I had a side project using PyTorch and some transformers from HuggingFace. It was very quick to get everything setup with hiveCompute.

I’m an early adopter of hivedisk and…

I’m an early adopter of hivedisk and hive compute anlong with my team and have been using hive compute for our ai model training.

It’s now essential for our business and we’ve moved over from AWS and GCP to hive. It’s a great way to save on costs and the team is very responsive + quick to integrate feedback.
