I filed a repair claim with CAP

I filed a repair claim with CAP. It was approved for about $800 (1/3 of the actual cost of the repair) November 2, 2023. I have yet to be reimbursed. I have called and emailed and have been assured I would receive payment in about a week every time I call yet I still have not been paid. August 3,2024.

Concord Auto Protect

I have since found out that the Attorney General of Pennsylvania is going after these crooks! I'm sending in all my supporting documents etc and joining in. Don't go through what I'm going through

DO NOT BUY FORM THESE GUYS!!!! My van has been at the dealership for two weeks as of today 07/19/24. Waiting for concord to ok the repaired. For two weeks both me and the dealership have been given the runaround i've been even been hung up on while pleading to get the work done. Thay sure didn't mine taking my money in a hurry!

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am writing this review to hopefully save someone the stress that I have endured due to this unprofessional company. I will keep rewriting reviews until I get what was promised to me when I purchased my auto protection plan .

At the beginning of January 2023 I bought 2 auto protection plans simultaneously thinking I was getting peace of mind. One was for a 2013 Dodge Challenger and the other was for a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu. At the end of February I felt the Chevy Malibu was not shifting correctly. So i took the car to the service department at Celebration Chevrolet Dealership. The service department then informed me that there are transmission issues.

Following that we emailed the service department our protection plan from Concord Auto Protect. Concord Auto Protection then requested a specific list of documents to move forward with the repair. we along with the service advisor at the Chevrolet Dealership provided each and every requested document.

We have called every other day , Concord Auto Protect refuses to return my phone calls, repeatedly disconnects my phone call , or they tell me that they will have manger call me back , BUT NEVER CALLS BACK!?!?! We paid for both protection plans in full. It appears they are trying to get out of taking responsibility for there auto protection plan . They are not upholding the responsibilities of what they sold me .

Likely going out of business...protect yourself...

I wish I could give these thieves a 0 star rating ! Do not purchase their extended warranty !! They take your money and do nothing they promise in their contract ! Recently my 2017 Chevy Silverado truck had a problem with the transmission and a repair was needed. My truck needed a total transmission replacement. This company neglected to return calls in a timely fashion, was difficult to get in touch with, and did not provide the assistance we were guaranteed to have in regards to this purchased policy. An insurance adjustor was eventually sent to the mechanic after a week of calling Concord. Since then, there has been no follow up from this company, no assistance or correspondence since then. We had to get the truck fixed at a significant cost of $6984.22, and a car rental fee of $180.00, while we waited for Concord Auto Protect . It’s been almost 3 months and still no answer ! Our suspicion is this company is fraudulent and has taken advantage of not only us, but of many other people across the commonwealth and the country! STAY AWAY!!

I swear I have called Concord atleast 20 times and they lie to me. On 6.5.24 I called and the guy said Michael the manager at x801 said my refund would be ZELLES into account by end of day on 6.10.2024
I have yet ro receive my refund. I've called. I've emailed. No responses. Everytime I leave Michael x801 a message . He has never returned my calls. Company is Concord Auto Protect 1888 399 2811. 1150 1st Avenue #501 King of Prussia PA 19406
I have to concede they are fraudulent and scammers
Pls help get my refund

Concord auto protect is a SCAM

Concord auto protect is a SCAM. Do not do business with then. They gave me a claim number for a water pump repair on my Audi and then stopped communicating with me. I tried numerous times to get in touch with the manager in charge and he never answered my calls or emails. I’m out $1,400 for the repair and $2,400 for the policy. Don’t let it be you. Also the BBB does not recommend them.

Unprofessional

Unprofessional, rude, borderline abusive. I had coverage with this company for the last few years, and in the past it was perfectly fine. I understand they underwent ownership change, and that explains dramatic change in attitude and value you receive as a consumer: don't waste your time and hard earned money, look elsewhere. When I brought my car in for a repair, they flat out denied most of the coverage, and even on covered items they severely limit hourly reimbursement and saddle you with aftermarket parts, in addition to endless demands of paperwork.

Like most everyone else

Like most everyone else - I cancelled my coverage as i purchased a new vehicle and sold the car i had extended warranty on. This happened back in Feb of 2024 and have yet to receive a refund. I've called and talked to a different Lier each time as they stated a check would be coming. This place is a scam stay away. I will be taking them to small claims court to try and get my money back

This company is a scam. Check reviews on BBB and all over Google. Even on their faecbook account they have bad reviews. They only protect their bank account, nothing else.

Stay away!

Stay away!! One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with! Rejected the first covered claim. After several phone calls they covered it, most of it anyway. When second claim was attempted they were unavailable. Paid out of pocket. Attempted to contact them for 2 weeks. Finally got someone on the phone who told me they were undergoing new ownership and management. That is why no one answered phones or return messages. I requested a refund because of their lack of professionalism and response. They process cancellation immediately and told me I would receive prorated refund. It has been 3 months and I have not received a check. Called at least four times in the past 2 months. Last two calls I was assured that my refund was in the queue but the check had not yet been issued. They assured me and it would be issued soon. Have yet to see check or hear back from this company. I knew that the cost of this policy was too good to be true. Buyer beware!

HORRIBLE

This company is awful, shady as can be. There is no fix for this, they are rude, incompetent, and fraudulent. Just read the negative reviews and disregard the good ones, notice how all the negative reviews are the same thing and save your money!

Don’t waste your time and money Well it happened again

Well it happened again. Car had to go into the shop. Dealer called Concord to start the claim process..this was on a Friday. I can later myself to make sure someone was working on the claim. Guess what, the contract states the claims department open 24/7. Not true, got an answering service. Dealer told me Concord would get back with them Monday. Didn’t happen. Wednesday still no communication from Concord.. I called, was told they would bump up to next level. Same story as from other past claims. Called back again, now I’m hot. They tell me the approval had been sent to the dealer. Called dealer, guess what, yes you got it they didn’t have it. I called the third time. They send they would send me a copy as we were speaking. Waited 20 minutes and no email with approval. Fourth call an as we were talking I got he email. After reading they wanted the dealer to accept parts being order from Concord to be shipped to the dealer. Dealer told them they don’t put none manufactured parts into their repairs. I also requested Concord to allow dealer to provide OEM parts. Requested written approval . They approved, but would only pay the price for the parts that they wanted to supply. None OEM parts. This is my third claim with Concord. Same trouble every time. I would cancel my contract but by the time they prorated and deducted any money from past repairs approved I felt it wasn’t worth the pain and aggravation. Also from reviews about this company others are still waiting for a cancellation check. In summary DON’T waste your time and money. This must be their business model.

Total scam of a company.

Made a legitimate claim for my daughters car 5.5 weeks ago. No one calls back, or responds to emails. Whenever we get to an actually person they have excuses, or they send you to a voicemail. Never call you back. This is first claim out of 4 other policies we purchased from them. After our mechanic submitted all the documents they said they required, we heard nothing. We have called and called and no one can approve our claim. My daughters car has been sitting for 5.5 weeks waiting. They are not a legit company. They take your money and provide no service.

AVOID THIS COMPANY

I had a contract with this company, thank goodness I didn't have to file a claim, I called to cancel my warranty on 23 February 2024 because I traded in my vehicle I was told that I would receive my refund in 30 days which I thought was an extremely long time, it has over 60 days and still no refund. I have called several times and sent several emails which they never answer, the latest call was on 22 April and I was told that I would receive my refund on Friday 26 April 2024 of course that didn't happen, I called several times today 28 April 2024 and all I get is lies, excuses and deflection to someones voicemail that never returns your call, seems as if they're trying to stall until my contract expires then not give me my refund. I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. THEY'RE A TOTAL SCAM RIPOFF COMPANY. Any positive reviews on this company is a complete LIE. May 13th and still no refund.

These people are the worst

These people are the worst! If you are able to get through, they hang up before saying hello. They sound like they are all on lewds. They say claims take 24/48hrs. and I never get a call back or info before waiting at least a week. 9 out of 10 times they deny a claim. DO NOT USE THEM! Total scammers.

Horrible Company. Stay Away

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. I have been a client of Concord Auto Protect for the past three years and thankfully, never had to use them until last month and my car had to stay in the auto workshop for 7 weeks. I was without car for 7 weeks because they couldn't approve $1300. They also did not pay for my rental. Buying the policy was very easy and renewing even easier as everything was done through text message all in 30 minutes. However, during the past 7 weeks, I would call them daily, send emails, send emails to their managers, however, I would get no response. You can never go past their first level phone support, as they are not allowed to pass the line to 2nd level. Auto adjustor would also not respond to emails, remember you are not allowed to talk to him, onle the first line call support can. Stay away from Concord. They are not a good company to do business with.
