Connect CureClinics 42% markup

Connect CureClinics feels clunky, outdated, and unnecessarily complicated.

The pharmacy arrangement they have with CareADHD is particularly concerning. I was repeatedly charged extremely high prices for lisdexamfetamine / Elvanse prescriptions.

£118 for 28 days.

Yet the NHS indicative price for Elvanse 70mg is around £83.16, meaning I paid roughly a 42% markup in one case. Generic lisdexamfetamine is now increasingly available privately in the UK for substantially less than what I was charged.

At some point it stops feeling like healthcare and starts feeling like a badly optimized subscription funnel wrapped around controlled medication access.

Expensive. Slow. Poor communication. Outdated systems.

I would strongly advise people to clarify prescribing arrangements and pharmacy flexibility before signing up.
