Under quoting

We engaged Connect Flooring to supply and install a garage storage rack system after reviewing their quote.

The racks took approximately six months to arrive. When it came time for installation, Connect Flooring referred us to a third-party installer. However, the installer’s quote was four times higher than the original installation price quoted by Connect Flooring. We were then referred to another installer, whose quote was eight times higher.

After that, we received no further communication from the company. This matter will be reported to the ACCC, as their conduct appears highly unethical.

I hope others will be cautious and avoid falling victim to such business practices.
