Trust pilot reviews before seemed sceptical but not awful, I researched the company registration, addresses etc and surprisingly didn't think it was too bad.
Sadly though as per other comments everyone was given the same tracking number. Delivery company couldn't provide any details and after trying to contact them they either blocked me or deleted their facebook page and made a new one.
Do not buy.
Change your card details!!!
Writing another warning
Please cancel your card asap!!
They have tried to take money out my bank. On phone to the bank now to sort it out
Definitely scam
Definitely scam. Cannot get my money back. Have to buy a switch on a trustable store.
Yep, It is a scam
Yep, It is a scam
I'm always cautious and skeptical about these kinds of websites. I did everything i could to search about the company behind this website before i made the payment.
I checked the company address, contact info, the start-up capital of the business, legal representative... like, everything! And it just looks like any other legit websites.(there weren't many bad reviews about the website BTW, which brings down my cautiousness even more)
The scammer made everything so perfect till ppl shared their experience and found out we all got the same tracking numbers ( JJD0002249537093959) and the product returned to the sender(aka scammer)
Hold the money that suger daddy gave you, have a nice meal and got gangbanged on Christmas, wish u got ran over by cars after that:D
Scammed!!
Just like everyone else, received the email with tracking number. My “parcel” had multiple redirections, rearranged delivery dates, etc. Contacted them via Facebook messenger & was told the same BS as everyone else, sent to their UK warehouse so we don’t have to pay taxes & will be delivered to me within 2 days! Never happened, now also blocked on Facebook! Yodel wouldn’t assist as was told the details they have & what I have did not match! Someone needs to be held accountable here!! Are the banks going to get our money back?! What about Facebook, what are they doing about it?! Then there is Yodel, if they had our “parcels” they are rightfully ours!! So what if the information doesn’t match?! We have proof of purchase, that’s enough proof that these items we purchased are ours!! I am personally going to take action against not only this scam company Console Capital, Facebook & Yodel!!!
Biggest scam there is
Have the same experience as everyone else. Please don’t fall for this. Good reviews are fake aswell.
Facebook Advertising Fail
Ok so this is a hard pill to swallow but it would appear that I along with many others have fallen for a scam on Facebook, where a "confirmed" "sponsored advert" has been allowed to circumvent through Facebook's timeline every single day, now I know how hard it is to get a post viewed on Facebook without resorting to paid sponsorships, this company "Console Capital" have so many adverts I guess they are lining the pockets of Facebook
The adverts are misleading, I ordered a Nintendo Switch from the website mainly because it was a bit of a bargain, over a month down the line and I still don't have my Nintendo Switch, the company gave me a tracking number, the number was linked to a yodel delivery in Liverpool, I live in Havant quite a distance away from Liverpool, I then enquired and Yodel refused to help me as it was not my name or address on the tracking details,
With this information I contacted Console Capital yet again to be told the item was being sent to a warehouse in Liverpool so that it can be QC before they send it out to me,
They then told me I should recieve it within 24 hours from when it landed at thier Liverpool address, I checked yodel again and something very strange happened, the package failed delivery and then got redirected over 30 times in the space of the evening, before Yodel finally smelling the same rat and sending the item back to the original shipper
I still don't have a nintendo switch, I am hundreds of pounds out of pocket and Console Capital don't seem to want to be held accountable for any of this, they said that I should wait and it will be delivered soon
I checked trust pilot for reviews of the site, to my amazement I was not along, and even worse some people have put thier tracking number down online which is the exact same tracking number I was given
It is not looking like there is much hope of receiving my Nintendo Switch this side of Christmas or indeed ever is my inclination at this precise moment
The same as everyone else here
The same as everyone else here - ordered a Nintendo Switch in the Black Friday sale - thought the price might be a little too good to be true, so used a protected credit card so that getting a refund won't be an issue if it turned out to be a scam. Glad we did that!
The communication with ConsoleCapital over Facebook had me cautiously optimistic for a while - but inevitably they came up with excuses and kept pushing the date back sounding sympathetic.
Their reasoning for the Yodel tracking number that I and everyone else got, was that this was the shipment going to their UK warehouse, and it would be dispatched from there to me after being checked (even though we were told our order was already at their UK warehouse).
I feel bad for anyone that might not be able to recover their money, and I hope more people don't see the same adverts for CC on Facebook that I saw. Please everyone report the adverts on FB as a scam.
If the Switch miraculously shows up on the 17th I will be thoroughly amazed and will amend my review.
Extraordinary organization!
Extraordinary organization!! Much obliged to you to such an extent.
Scam Don't Buy
I had the same experience as everyone else, I suspected it was a scam so I only spent £20 and ordered the rest from Nintendo themselves (that's another story but I was able to get it sorted with them because you know... they're actually real). Got confirmation of the order, dispatch and even received a tracking number (the same tracking number as everyone else in the country it seems JJD0002249537093959).
I was even messaging them through their Facebook messaging service and they were responding. He said he had 2300 parcel numbers to send out and sometimes he makes a mistake. To be fair this has been a pretty successful scam compared to the classic Nigerian prince emails from back in the day. All I know for sure is that there's a Hungarian somewhere that has made a lot of money and ofc go and report this to the authorities but they will just make a new scam website with new Facebook adverts which we all need to report as scams whenever we see them.
Yes I too have been scammed...
Yes I too have been scammed. Received the same tracking number to an address in Liverpool and various date changes. Thankfully I used my Revolut virtual one time use card so they couldn’t take any card details from me and a chargeback is now underway.
Please don’t fall for the great price you see, it’ll be the most expensive PS4 or Nintendo Switch you ever buy as you need to buy it again from a trusted business also.
Don’t trust it!!!
Don’t trust it! Bought one on Black Friday deal and I never got it and they don’t answer to my emails or messages!!!!
I ordered and paid for items over £300…SCAM SCAM
I ordered and paid for items over £300 had the email with tracking number, Yodels tracking supposedly tried to deliver when I was at home!!! When I kept checking the tracking it listed many changes or date for delivery then a change of delivery address when I contacted Yodel the said my details did not match that of the tracked parcel. I have just read a post here and the tracking number is the same as mine. SCAM SCAM SCAM console capital wont respond to my email or fb messages. Beware I have just been blocked by them I have forwarded everything to trading standards as well as reporting their pages to facebook as scammers
100% scam site
100% scam site
Same as the others, tracking went to Liverpool instead of my house and now they have returned it to the sender and they have blocked me in their Facebook profile, probably sending around an empty box to stop everyone from getting money back right away, luckily for me I already contacted the bank and put a note on the transaction over a week ago, tracking number was JJD0002249537093959, i literally made this account to write this
Scam website pls report them.
Scam like everyone says I actually thought I was going to get my order in 2 weeks since they shipped it before 14 days like they said on their website but just found out by looking at the reviews from others that they sent the same parcel tracking number to all their customers and then today yodel just said that they sent the parcel back to the sender and because there were so many date changes it’s clear that a lot of people tried to change the date to suit their own time. I thought it was just yodel glitching out but looks like it’s not and this websites just a whole scam. Going to report them and contacting my bank to get my money back. I also encourage all the victims of scam to report this crime to Action Fraud by calling 0300 123 2040 or online.
Clever Scam. AVOID
Yep. Exactly the same experience as the 2 reviewers below. Definitely a scam. All sorts of funny business going on with the tracking number on Yodel. I was initially encouraged by the positive reviews on here and particularly the recent ones who have several reviews on their accounts. But dig a little deeper and those reviewers are positively reviewing the same companies and the wording of their reviews are sometimes really strange...don’t know what I was thinking getting suckered into this! Reporting them to Scam Action Service and contacting my bank. AVOID.
