I always go to Dr Caoimhe at The…
I always go to Dr Caoimhe at The consultant clinic and I wouldn’t go anywhere else, I’ve had lip fillers and I absolutely love them, they look so natural and I get so many compliments! Dr Caoimhe is always so professional from start to finish, during my consultation Caoimhe always makes sure I am comfortable every time I visit the clinic. I absolutely felt safe in their hands and 100% would recommend!
Dr Caoimhe Doherty is fantastic
Dr Caoimhe Doherty was amazing from start to finish - from the initial consultation, she was very informative and reassuring, and remained so throughout the treatment. I was nervous of having needles put in my face (never had anything done previously) but she made me feel at ease and answered all my questions and queries. She took the time to explain everything she was doing, the effect it will have, when I should notice a difference and so on. She gave great advice on aftercare and the results I got were better than I expected. I am actually looking forward to going back for my top up in a few months, and can safely say I will go to her and only her for all future cosmetic treatments.
I feel people get sucked into this…
I feel people get sucked into this company via social media with their amazing instagram posts and before/afters. My experience wasn’t anything of the sort.
I booked a consultation and met with Dr Jas who told me straight away I needed ALL of my previous fillers dissolved (a hefty cost of £800) and that I had basically ‘spoiled myself’.
I came out feeling very low in confidence and confused. This then played on my mind for weeks to which I backed down and got my previous fillers dissolved (bearing in mind people told me there was nothing wrong with them and I looked fine, but i wanted to see what a full face rejuvenation would look like after all the glamorous posts on Insta).
After the dissolving and a week later, Dr Jas basically told me nothing could be done for my tired eyes and I would have to have surgery for that. She placed a little filler in my lips (to which has noticeably gone down now and I feel like I had nothing in them) a bit of botox and charged me £1500.
So £2300 down.
She would not touch my cheeks as she said there was enough in them still from the dissolving that was meant to have occurred? and sent me on my way.
I feel this is a hyped up company that charge ridiculous prices to get you to dissolve other peoples work and make you look ‘very natural’.
I now look constantly tired as she dissolved my previous tear trough and put nothing in to replace it, and even more low on confidence than before!
I am also skint!
I wouldn’t go back.
Unprofessional, awful service
Unprofessional, awful service! Manchester clinic in Bolton is just a room amongst loads of different businesses, while waiting outside you can hear every single word the patient and consultant are discussing so avoid if you want an ounce of privacy. Waited over 40 minutes for my scheduled appointment without acknowledgment before having to leave to get back to work. Ridiculous considering how incredibly expensive they are. Despite the consultant not being able to see me, Consultant Clinic's appalling customer service wouldn't refund my deposit because it was 'my choice to leave' despite not being seen and frankly feeling uncomfortable at how unprivate their space was. May as well have been injected in the reception area. So glad I found a more professional clinic!
I was 2times in this clinic for lip…
I was 2times in this clinic for lip augmentation, first time I met dr James and he left a gap on to my lips where was missing a filler, I booked appointment for the second ml that time I met Dr Lucas he fixed that gap and filled my lips nicely. All right so here it comes my third time after 2 years, third time I met Dr Paul, same situation as with Dr James he left a gap on to my lips and one side was bumpy (I will add a picture) and this time I don't want second ml, so I started to write messages to instagram asking to fix it, got answer that I have to massage, ok I started to massage but that gap is not going anywhere BECAUSE IS NO FILLER THERE! I wrote a message again and this time I got an answer that is my anatomy 😂 are you joking??? I never had any bumps, asymmetric or gaped lips! So the problem is with that clinic that if is fine is fine, if they do a crap on your face, forget about any help or to be fixed. Waisting of money 450£ for 1ml and have ro go to other clinic to fix it! Nice job guys! Good luck!
Best decision ever
Best decision ever! I love everything on my face now! Dr Jas and Fiona are everything that you need! They dissolved my old lip filler that migrated to my upper lip rim only (this was done by different doctor not consultant clinic). Also they have done full face rejuvination and i look like 20 again! Young and fresh, but still myself not anybody else! I love these guys and trust them 100%
Absolute professionals, work speaks volumes for itself, I’m happy!
Absolute professionals. Very calming and caring of their patients. Always reassuring. Always a joy to go back. And the work they do is natural, subtle and absolutely phenomenal. I feel confident and highly recommend others that want that extra little umpf and feel sexy and confident in their own skin. Bless them all. Love you FFY & JAS!
Horrific
Horrific experience. As a self conscious client (most of us are which is why we book in places like this) my appointment was interruped mid treatment by the rude and obnoxious owner barging in. She sprawled herself across the chair and had an unprofessional casual chat with the clinician treating me, talking about other clinicians, ignoring me like i wasnt there. There are better out there i promise you. Not worth it. Go elsewhere. The owner spews verbal dog mess consistently. Awful.
Seriously, do not bother.
I paid $950 and flew myself over twice* for a ML of lip filler that left me wonky and asymmetrical, even after a revision... I am so, so disappointed. Been following them for years and had such high hopes. I'm letting everything settle before getting it all dissolved because I don't want to put my lips through further, immediate torture. The CC had already dissolved previous 'migrated filler', having refused to do my lips unless I did. Only, I had to have filler dissolved after* they did my lips because it migrated half-way up my nose, on the right side. I haven't ever had a less-satisfactory result and I've been getting my lips done for a decade, with less technology and presumably worse-quality filler. Save your money. They're just good PR.
I got nose filler by dr gareth at…
I got nose filler by dr gareth at Leeds. He said my nose just needed a minor tweak and said I wouldn’t even need to come in for a nose top up as it was such a minor tweak.
Anyway I did need to come back for the top up as it did not look right.
I had the top up then after a few weeks my nose had a bump in that didn’t even exist before I got any filler in. I feel my nose just looks worse now after paying all that money! I went back and said I wasn’t happy and he told me there was nothing he could do which was very frustrating after I live 2 hours drive away which he made me come all the way to the appointment to tell me
It’s just my nose.
I’m
Extremely disappointed and will never go back for any future treatments. Please avoid and save your money.
Also the lady on the Instagram is very very rude! Not a nice experience at all.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS UNLESS YOU WANT TO…
AVOID AT ALL COSTS UNLESS YOU WANT TO PART WITH THOUSANDS AND GET NOTHING IN RETURN. TERRIBLE ATTITUDE BY CUSTOMER SERVICE IF YOU CAN CALL IT THAT. JUST ANOTHER HARLEY STREET CHANCER TAKING ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE. WHILE THE OWNER SWANS ABOUT IN HER 8 BEDRROOM HOME OTHERS ARE LEFT WONDERING WHAT IT WAS THEY PAID FOR!
Awful awful company hiding behind Instagram
I got blocked on Instagram for standing up to their online trolling and bullying. Fiona says that influencers should be real etc but when Kylie posts an edited pic you can still tell it’s her. I saw Fiona in real life and OH MY GOD, she looks like a different human being. She should be fair and also state that she uses heavy editing and heavy filters. She also preaches that procedures should be done by a medic, however my friend got injected by Fiona a few years ago, and Fiona is NOT a medic. I took my name off this review as I’m genuinely scared to get trolled. I know quite a few people who have reported their instagram account for bullying. I know I’m going to get called a ‘fake reviewer’, I wish I could upload screenshots of my emails and bank statement etc. I got Botox done with CC and the results were awful. I went back and they told me to ‘hold an electric tooth brush to my forehead and it’ll fade quicker, bye’. That’s it. AVOID
I can't understand all the negative…
I can't understand all the negative reviews!
I visited the CC in Dubai last February. I was totally open to do whatever it would take to give me a better appearance.
Result: Doctor + Owner consulted me for 1 hour and agreed that I don't need any rejuvenation procedures yet, but just some deep filler to better project my chin. That's what we did and I am so happy with the result!
(I had it already done once in another clinic and looked like a witch).
It was quite expensive, but no doubt on the quality of doctors and service.
Honestly awful
Honestly awful - the before and afters are photoshopped, the real work is awful and lumpy which is why they photoshop, and the owner is not medically trained her instagram is full of lies she deletes any negative reviews on there, and they ignore requests to have photoshopped pictures of customers taken down once they have your money they do not care.
Great experience
I would first like to begin by saying, from my experience, and after reading all of these 1 star reviews, they are most certainly not real customers, or at least majority of them are not. I would secondly like to say that I was torn to give 5 stars. However, given that the prices seem to rise every year, and I'm not seeing any reasonable justification for them to be the price they are, that is my reason for 4- it is nothing to do with the clinicians themselves or the work they produce.
My first visit to the consultant clinic must have been in 2018 whilst I was a student. Prior to this I had had my lips done elsewhere where the filler had migrated, so they weren't looking their best! after not having them done for 3 years at the time, upon my visit in 2018, I was in fact turned away when I requested for them to filled (after thinking most the filler had dissolved over 3 years). The clinician at the time said it would not be a good idea with what filler was still left over. of course at the time I was somewhat frustrated but I could understand their reasoning. I never touched my lips since- until the other day! 4 years later (and finally being in a real job) I booked myself in to have anything that may remain dissolved. My appointment was with Helen, who was just such a wonderfully lovely character. we spoke about what I wanted and she was very clear with the treatment planned, and what to expect after, and when is realistic to return to have them redone. following this, I read that my dissolving would require a tiny amount being injected into my arm. as I am absolutely petrified of needles mostly in that area, I think she could see the concern and worry on my face. when carrying it out, she was extremely reassuring and spoke to me the whole time, and it really wasn't bad- as she said, so thank you for that Helen :) I sat outside the room and waited half an hour to see if there was a reaction whilst she treated another patient. when it was time for me to go back in and I had no reaction, I sat down for my dissolving. Helen offered me dental block ( I think from my reaction of the needle in my arm) but also so that she could get into some of the lumps that had remained under my lip. The filler really did start dissolving even half an hour after my treatment! I had no bruising from this, and by the next day it had nearly all gone. I planned on returning a week later for a refill, however she advised me to wait at least 2 weeks, 3 is better and 4 is perfect. I returned just over 2 weeks later to be treated by Kate. Again, another lovely clinician! we had little chat and she made me feel at ease once again before this procedure. I lay down and she gave me dental block, 4 times round the mouth. the one side seemed to struggle to be numbed, she inserted the cannula which was rather uncomfortable, so Kate gave me another round of dental block, which severely made the one side of my face go relaxed, I did wonder if it would be possible for her to get my lips even with how relaxed it went haha! there was a lot of pressure and tugging, which Kate said was down to the scar tissue within my lips- which I didn't know would even be a thing! in no time she had finished, and before showing me the results she pointed out that the one side had swelled up more than the other and that it would most likely bruise. now, when I first saw them, I was rather mortified- she was right, the one side had swelled up more already, and they looked uneven and I was sitting there thinking, was all that really worth it when they weren't all THAT bad before... I left the clinic and back to my car to drive 1.5 hours home. I would look in the mirror on the odd occasion to see them and they didn't look like they were getting any better so I put myself on a mirror ban until I got home. By the time I did get home, I was still numb (probably down to the second round of dental block) however, my lips were already settling and looked a lot nicer- to my surprise! now, 2 days later, yes the side is still bruised, but that is probably down to me taking ibuprofen when I got home for the swelling. But I look at them now, and when I put make up on and think, gosh I do LOVE my lips! they're brilliant! there's no "ledge" no swelling that it ridiculously ducky, its quite literally exactly what I have been waiting for since 2018. I already have my next appointment booked and I am very excited!
Just to reiterate, I honestly do love my lips, and loved the service I was provided by Helen and Kate. I do not love the price, I think he price of £300 from when I went in 2018 was already enough, but now it costs £410 and the dissolving is ludicrously £310. another reason for 4 is the person whom you speak with on Instagram. I don't know who it is but they need removing from the CC front of house because the way they speak to people is abysmal. other than these 2 things, I am very happy and would recommend the CC
Amazing experience …
Completely shocked at the negative reviews on here! I saw Dr.Zoe in the greater Manchester clinic over 2 months ago for 1ml in my lips and then today I saw Dr.Gareth in the Liverpool clinic for my nose and on both occasions I have been blown away. The level of service and expertise is incredible. I’m not a massive fan of needles and both made me feel completely calm and safe and continuously checked throughout that I was ok. I am over the moon with the results and would 1000% recommend! Also I second the previous comment regarding the Liverpool clinic location, it’s in a beautiful spot opposite a cathedral… no back alley in sight!
RUN AWAY!!!!
RUN AWAY!!!!
Absolutely horrible the filler is so overpriced I paid £860 for 2ml lip filler and it swells up and the filler literally disappears like it was never injected. There was literally no difference. They make you wait for so long in the waiting area then rob your money and don’t even care. Avoid at all costs and that instagram is fake and the owner which isn’t even a medic is absolutely fake and the pics are photoshopped. My lips ended looking the same but more like sausages with no shape or volume. After all I learnt a harsh lesson of if it’s expensive doesn’t mean it’s professional. I wish I read these reviews before I wasted my money I’m so disappointed but at least I learnt my lesson. Ffyona riding a rolls Royce from our money 🥲
It's amazing reading these reveiws
It's amazing reading these reveiws, how much they echo my own experience. I followed them also on Instagram which led me to believe they were the best of the best - excellent advertising from the lawyer/'clinical' director of consultant clinic because nothing could be further from the truth. I drove 3 hours to visit the clinic, when I arrived ffyona was sat like a queen in her High backed chair, and the whole appointment was about her. I did not feel welcomed or valued as a customer. Another doctor was present to see how consultant clinic work and it felt like the owner just wanted to show off to her about her success and how rich she was. I was basically invisible and unimportant and like many others the rest of my face was commented on in an underhand and derogatory way, telling me other work i needed, which has made me more insecure. Clearly she is a terribly insecure woman herself, you would have to be to have multiple awful surgeries on your face that do not look great and I think it's a red flag when your injector has poor aesthetics work done. I think she wants to make other women feel as bad as she does.
She seemed almost annoyed when i said i woukd stick with the original procedure i came for. DR jas was present who did the actual injecting. I was not expecting how awful the dental block was and I was very clearly shook up,after a massive adrenaline dump and I could barely stand my legs were shaking so much but there was no after care or compassion and I was unceremoniously turfed out the room,my husband was shocked when he saw me wobbling out the door. It was a horrible experience all round. Since then visiting other clinics I have found out how poorly they are seen by the rest of the industry and how she isn't actually a doctor which is wild considering her stance on non-medics. It amuses me that they are still using the excuse of it's bitter non medics when it very clearly is very dissatisfied and disappointed customers. Interestingly I wanted to feed back my experience to the clinic after but I had a very strong feeling they would not take it well so I didn't. A theme of the positive reviews on here is that ffyona the owner was not present at their appointments! And just because someone had a good experience it does not invalidate the poor ones, of which there are many! I guess I have learnt not to go by Instagram with something as important as this. The fact they are so reluctant to discuss what type of filler they use, which they should tell you when they are injecting it into your face is also extremely odd and unethical. Everyone has a right to know what products are used on them, this is also important when reporting reactions and its bizarre rhat they are so cagey about discussing it. Just spend your money elsewhere and research well!
Very surprised at the negative reviews…
Very surprised at the negative reviews and wonder how genuine they are. I have had only good experiences here. Met a few different doctors there now and they have been nothing but lovely, professional and able to give me their time- never once felt rushed.
I have emailed them on two separate occasions following treatments and they have emailed back the same day and responded quickly to my query.
As for the comment down a back alley in Liverpool? Madness its a beautiful street right by the cathedral.
Prices are higher than most places that I do agree with, but i felt safe in their hands and happy with the results. Cant fault that!
AVOID
AVOID! Wasted £3000, ive had to have it all removed. Very unprofessional. Tatty old smelly building. Do not care about us paying customers what to so ever, don’t listen. Just in and out, shove your face with overpriced filler in all the wrong places.
