BE AWARE of COOLBLUE. Illegal and unethical business practices
COOLBLUE has a very slick surface, always suggesting custumer friendliness and fairness.
The opposite is true, at least in my experience.
I sent them my phone for repair after it died over night. After four weeks I got a message that it cannot be repaired due to missing spare parts. Althought they refunded the full price, I requested it back since I had no chance to extract my data from the phone before I gave it away. Legally the phone and especially the data on it are still my property.
This was denied.
The answer: This is not possible. You phone has been thrown away. Basically ignoring data protection laws and property rights.
They always pretend to be on your side. And steal behind your back.
The data on the phone was that importatnt that I was prepared to give an order to a professional data recovery firm, althought I'd also have the means to do that. Now I have to fight a legal case because they are blocking any further request with zero content replies to my emails.
So think twice before you buy anything from COOLBLUE. Second face always shows after problems occur.
Update:
Eliza, what you say sounds reasonable, but was already discussed in a lengthy email exchange with your colleagues. In which at somepoint someone said that my phone would be returned and the next day someone else said that my phone has already been disposed of.
So I fear that facts have already been created and the only thing that remains is to talk of some kind of compensationn for that. I'm open for suggestions.

Wonderful, the delivery guys were super friendly and nice, they even brought the refrigerator down to the basement and pack in the car for me. Unfortunately they don’t deliver to my home(53619).

I ordered a product, they just sent me the email.
A few hours later I got a refund from PayPal, nothing from the website. The order doesn't show up in my account on the website or the App.
What's app number doesn't answer, phone number doesn't connect me to a human or help me.
It's like there is no real human on the other side of the website.
I'm really wondering how they got these high ratings...

Brilliant price, exactly the right product and super fast delivery. I ordered my TP-Link WLAN router on Tuesday and I received it on Wednesday. Before ordering, I checked Trustpilot to see if the store is trustworthy and it is. I can recommend. :)
Mistake or fraud?
Bought a Theragun on Black Friday.
Paid with Apple Pay. My order is not registered on my profile, no order confirmation and no shipping notification. No replies from customer support.
Is this fraud? If not please get your act together and ship my order.
Update - i don’t want a refund. I want the product delivered at the Black Friday price.

Horrible experience.
I bought the monitor with full payment, with next day delivery. Since I was only coming to the country for a couple of days, delivery was important. The next day I was informed that my monitor was sold to someone else. And now I can cancel the order and wait 3-5 days for my funds. For 3-5 days I am left without money and without a monitor. Thank you, famous Dutch quality service.

Lieferung ging total schief.... And zero help from Coolblue
Lieferung ging mit DHL schief, irgendwie anderswo geleitet..... Coolblue konnte nicht helfen. Ich musste alleine mit DHL das Packet suchen :-( .
The delivery went wrong got sent to the wrong place.... Coolblue refused to get involved, I had to contact DHL to find out where they had left the parcel. Not pleasant !

Return policy was not transparent
Return policy was not transparent. I bought a Shark Flexstyle (Hairstyling product) and in the confirmation email, it stated that I can return the products after 30 days if you are not satisfied.
Only to figured out later that a hair styler is a hygiene product/care product cannot be returned.
I would have better experience in other shops, I would not recommend purchasing here. Not again from my side.
Edit: I’m just wondering whether all the people not satisfied with a 300euros hair styler are all not able to return. Do Dyson, Shark, Amazon or Mediamarkt will handle the situation the same as Coolblue. And I dont think so and for that reason, I will still give my one star review, because this is not the standard.

I ordered a washing machine for my moving. Since I work everyday, only day that could work is Saturday. It arrived with a defect so they took it back and set another appointment. Just for that, I asked a friend of mine to travel from another city, in order to be here to open the doorbell to the team. This day they never showed up, the app was showing till last minute that it’s “on the way” and after all that I call, the team said that they rang the bell an no one answered. Sadly the next available date for me can be in more that a month, so no clean clothes, thanks coolblue:D just poor service.
