Absolutely over the moon with this company! Quick and clear communication and they made sure to send my order as soon as the back-ordered part was available. Everything arrived neatly packed and their prices could not be beaten. I will definitely order again in the future.

I've had 2-3 orders with them over the last month or so. Each time it's been really quick and easy and delivery has been really fast!
Will definitely continue to use them.

I bought a RPI4 in july 2022 and it worked well.
Two weeks ago it stopped working (solid red, no green light, no 3.3v, dead)
I wrote them asking for assistance, no reply.
I wrote them again, no reply.
I wrote them a third email, no reply.

I understand that getting a RPI4 replacement would be a loss due to the shortage, but I would have loved a courtesy reply at least.

I will never by from them again.

edit 13/3/2023: you only have sales at coolcomponents.co.uk and I wrote you as reply to confirmation, then I wrote a completely new email twice to such address as you only have that address referenced in your website, so?

Ordered Pi4 kit but they sent the wrong power supply, Have tried to contact over form, email, and even phone but no response as yet. Its a shame as was sent really quickly but not sure why ignoring my comms.

Ordered 3pm on the 5th. Delivered by the postie at 11am on the 6th!

Ordered after 18:00 on Tuesday delivered AM Thursday... How do they do it in middle of postal strike and 4 days before Christmas..

Coolcomponents were just EXCEPTIONAL in their communication, after sales service( when I had a slight technical issue ) which they resolved with great speed and efficiency. I cannot recommend them more highly. Well done to the team!

Was umming and ahhing about a raspberry pi zero 2 w and when I decided to buy, obviously no one had any - bar cool components.
I thought it might be a scam at first, having not dealt with these guys before and the fact no-one else had any and these guys had hundreds, but no. Fully legit and I have my raspberry pi zero w 2 in hand.
I often need stupid things for projects and will be using cool components more in future.

First order was excellent. Extremely quick.

Second order was slower and is still yet to arrive, but responded promptly when I asked them where the order is. (but given that the country has driver shortages I suspect it’s out of their control.)

I have previously purchased from Cool Components from online marketplaces, and more recently directly on their website. Every time, orders arrive quickly and the products are of high quality.
The customer service is very helpful. My most recent order contained a component that I was unable to get working. I worked with customer services to trouble-shoot the problem and try to fix it, but concluded that it was a faulty item and sent a new one.
Top marks for customer service! I'll definitely continue to purchase from Cool Components through their website, as well as their Amazon and eBay stores.

Ordered a Teensy 4.1 at 5pm on Wednesday. Couldn't get them from my usual place (RS Components and Digi-Key) so was expecting a price hike from any UK suppliers. In fact, Cool Components were cheaper and the item arrived the following morning.
Also got an email from the owner saying thanks for the business. I know it is probably automated, but it's still a nice touch.
I will definitely add Cool Components to the top of my suppliers list for future purchases.

Great products at fair prices, enthusiastic staff, and no problems whatsoever so far. I've not had any reason to return anything, so I can't give my opinion on their customer service.

An excellent company to deal with; I've used them a few times in the past (more frequently recently) and cannot fault their service. Their checkout process is easy and dispatch/delivery is reliably fast and affordable.

Probably the only reason they aren't my go-to supplier for ALL my project parts (which is currently RS) is because they don't offer the same free next-day delivery on all orders; which I realise is probably impractical for the smaller company to implement.

Still; they stock the more esoteric items (Arduino-compatibles, Pololu boards, etc), which RS do not; and at a reasonable price.

Highly recommended.

Not even worth one star. I agreed refund with seller for faulty item. I posted item back but refund has never been processed by seller. I had to ciam that with Paypal. Avoid!

Paypal has decided case in sellers's favour because seller provided different adress of return in paypal case to the adress provided to me on messenger. According to paypal case has been closed in seller's favour automaticly for that reason... Furthemore this address has been provided to paypal after I had already shipped the item, as instructed by seller. This has been clarified with paypal support and case has been decieided in my favour in the end. There was no broken parts but there was missing parts which I did point out to the seller when contacted their support as well. Defienietely would not use coolcomponents again.

Great customer service. They went the extra mile to help me split/refund/reorder and then refunded any excess postage etc. Really good will definitely use them again. Email responses were minutes apart and definitely a person, not a robot answering me. Oh, and they have a great range of parts.
