Lovely and cold

I made a purchase with Cool Towel before I had read any reviews. When I realised there was going to be a delay on the delivery. I began to regret my purchase. Anyway. I contacted customer service who were extremely helpful. I received an email from Harrison who did everything he could to make sure my order was delivered on Friday. The towel is nice and cold.

There were delays in communication…

There were delays in communication which concerned me initially. Harrison said it was due to being a small company and he was processing orders himself. Stock ran out but a new delivery was due to arrive. I placed the order 28th June and my towel arrived today; it’s ok. When you first wet it, no matter how much it’s wrung out, you’re sitting there with a wet towel around you. It dries out quickly; I can’t see it staying cold for the 2-4 hours it says on the bottle . Snapping it does refresh the cold but the cooling effect is gone in a minute; I expected it to last longer. In high heat I think it would dry out in no time. Right now I’m just sitting in my flat which is at a comfortable temperature, and the cold doesn’t last. I haven’t decided if I’m keeping it yet.

Update from 4 days ago

Update from 4 days ago, after hearing nothing from them after sending 2 messages and getting a refund from my bank I had an apologetic email saying they were sorry for the delay and that my order would be sent out and I would receive it by the end of the week. Well today being Friday and they arrived, well happy with them. I contacted my bank again and they have closed my dispute they are now going to be laid.

Waited three weeks for this to arrive…

Waited three weeks for this to arrive with poor email back saying they have been busy out of stock blah blah. Now back in stock will be in the middle of the following week. Still took a further 2 weeks to arrive. …. Got it today. Yes you “snap” the towel and it feels cold. But it’s last 2-4 mins not the 2-4 hours as raved about. Paid £14.99 for nothing but a bit of cloth

CoolTowel definitely works

I’ve received my order today. It did take a week to arrive, but we’re in the middle of a heatwave so I think that’s acceptable. The towel was packed well, and works really well. It definitely stay cold for several hours. It’ll definitely be coming on holiday with me.

I’m pissed off I even have to give this 1 star to be honest you don’t deserve any.
Ordered on the 26th of June. No show. Emailed and ignored for days on end. Got an email back apologising saying they didn’t even have them in stock and offered me a full refund if I wanted to cancel the order, I cancelled it, they confirmed id get my refund. Didn’t happen. Emailed again and they said they’d process my full refund now, even though they had apparently already done it. Then got a refund notification for just the delivery cost?! Are you insane. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS. I don’t care for the sob story of it being a 16 year old.

Would give less if I could SCAM

Would give less if I could.
DO NOT FALL FOR THE STORY of a young founder.
Ordered 23days ago and received nothing.
Item originally in stock and should have receive it within 3-5 working days.
Emailed twice and after a 6 day wait, received a pre-typed email with a sob story of we are behind on orders, I’m learning, I’m a very small busy’. The email ended with ‘it will be posted next week ready for the next heat wave’ and guess what ???……….. not posted.
Emailed again and ‘Harrison’ stated he had broken his promise, he still hadn’t sent it and would send it the following week.
With a firm email back stating the service is shocking whether he is only now 16 or not. I asked for it to be sent out straight away - this was on Tuesday or the following day on the next day delivery service, hoping I would get it for my daughters holidays, as it hadn’t in time for mine. Received an email back saying ‘ it’s not possible as today is Saturday so it will be shipped Monday, but you still won’t received it in time so I would suggest a full refund’
Right the day was Tuesday so why state today is Saturday????0 ……. It’s a scam guys and do not let the founders story cloud your judgment!!!!

Beyond Poor

Like others would give less than 1 star if possible.
Ordered 29th June. Website states delivery in 2-3 days. Nothing. Emailed to chase up. No response. After three emails and advising I would initiate a chargeback via credit card was told your order will ship end of this week (Tactical email from company?).

Wait until the following week no update and no tracking for delivery. Emailed again and after three ignored emails I have requested immediate refund which I am waiting for. If that doesn’t turn up I will start the chargeback process
DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER AN ORDER.

Decided to order a cool towel because the UK has been extremely hot lately. placed order on 10th July 2026 and we are now on 13th July. I have emailed cooltowel regarding my order as it has not been shipped as of yet and I wanted to change the address. No response at all and the live chat does absolutely nothing!! They do not respond at all and that is £17 something down the drain unless my bank can recover that amount for me. Had I have checked reviews prior I would have never ordered one and would have ordered one for 1 cheaper elsewhere and id actually receive it and have it by the time this heatwave came around. This is a terrible service and even worse you cant even cancel the order yourself and there's no use in emailing about it because they wont answer you anyway... very disappointing!! Will never recommend anyone to buy a cool towel from the 'official site' because to put it bluntly its s**t

Still no delivery

Ordered on 27th June, said 2 to 4 days for delivery, now 13 days later and still waiting for it, keeps promising it’s on its way, no tracking for it at all! Have now asked for a refund, do not order from here!!! Update… I asked for a full refund and they said 1-2 days, 5 days later still no refund !!!

Pity it only goes to 1 star. Not even worth that. Takes orders he cannot fulfil, then when you complain promises it will be delivered then you get another email saying oh sorry I cant - followed by excuses blah blah. You chose the publicity nobody else and you have been mugged off. Dont use this company who promise a lot and deliver NOTHING. They are good at taking your money though!

Ordered 24th June now 5th July.

Ordered 24th June. States 3 to 4 working days. 5th July no package. Sent request about order on their platform, nothing.
Orderd from the original towel company given the story, could have bought copy's from various companies and cheaper but, i like to support the story given behind this young lad.
Very disappointed, no communication response. Thought id have it in time for the next heatwave.
Not good really. May have to phone up my credit card company.

Ordered a towel on the 25th June and it is now the 3rd July and I have still not received this. I have emailed but no reply. Web site says if you have not received the product in 3 days to contact them and they will reply immediately. Guess what... they haven't. Terrible customer service. Please sort it out!
