Excellent product and services

Balmoral bench I purchased exceeded my expectations. Excellent product found it easy to install with the ground anchors. Delivery driver polite and courteous. Will be recommending to my friends and neighbours.

Customer care - it's a joke

Corido called this Monday morning (the day of delivery - having waited about 4 months and taken the day off) to say the driver was sick. They pointed out that given this was delivery of a table, I would need to take another day off to help the driver (who presumably would have recovered by then after having enjoyed a long weekend). No real remorse or offer to put themselves out having inconvenienced us. Their attitude is we are busy enough - why don't you have a refund (which I accept gladly). Do yourself a favour and give them a miss.

IN RESPONSE TO THEIR COMMENT: IT IS FRANKLY TYPICAL/IS REPRESENTATIVE OF THE PHONE CALL. THIS IS COVERING UP THEIR LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY HAVE MADE NO REAL ATTEMPT AT AN APOLOGY OR SOUGHT TO (FOR EXAMPLE) DELIVER WITHOUT OUR ASSISTANCE (WHICH REQUIRES US TO TAKE ANOTHER DAY OFF). MY COMMENTS STAND AND READERS SHOULD BE AWARE. WOUDLN'T IT BE NICE SOMETIMES FOR COMPANIES TO ADMIT THEY HAVE FALLEN SHORT AND PUT THEMSELVES OUT TO RESOLVE IT. I WON'T HOLD MY BREATHE.

Hello David,

We are sorry that you are unhappy with the service and that we let you down with the delivery at the last minute. You ordered a large table and kindly agreed to assist the driver so that the table could be delivered assembled into your garden.

We have a team of dedicated and skilled drivers and they do call in sick from time to time, but we can assure you that this driver was not malingering ‘having enjoyed a long weekend’ as you say. The truth of the matter is the driver called in sick with symptoms that could have been COVID and we decided to be prudent and not put our customers at risk.

Naturally, we were not pre-warned that the driver was not available and therefore were only in the position to start contacting customers when the office opened at 9am. We did not have the option of securing an agency driver since assembling tables is a skill that an agency driver would not possess. We are sorry that you felt we offered no real remorse, and apologise that we did not explore alternative options for effecting delivery without requiring you to take another day off work.

With regard to the delayed delivery to which you refer, you placed your order on 22nd March and were advised at that time that the ‘due back in stock’ date was 7th June. We state on our web page that delivery will be within 2 weeks of the ‘due back in stock’ date and as we had scheduled delivery for 14th June, this was within the quoted parameters. It is unfortunate that we did not have all the items in stock at the time of order, however, we did provide a ‘due back in stock’ date to enable you to make an informed judgement as to whether you wished to wait for the delivery of the order.

Very helpful company

Very helpful company - good communication and answered a few questions I had after the product arrived. Happy to change my order after I changed my mind on seeing the product (wanted a larger table).

5 Star Service

5 Star Service! All aspects of this company are extremely professional and of excellent quality. Ordering is a simple, quick process and the choice and price of products available is great.
I was kept informed from the moment of placing my order and was updated with delivery instructions. As I was going to be away when original delivery was scheduled Corido offered to delay the delivery to suit my needs!
The furniture was delivered by an extremely helpful and friendly man. My partner helped with getting some of the furniture in to the house as it weighed so much. The table & chairs were very well packaged and protected, in cardboard and minimal amounts of plastic (strapping). Every item arrived undamaged and is incredibly well made, I couldn’t be happier. Definitely would recommend Corido Teak Garden Furniture for professional service , and beautiful high quality furniture.

Do not buy from this brand

We bought a table in April with delivery planned for September. The table arrived in time and the customer service team was helpful and quick to respond. However our table and chairs are already covered in black stains that look like mould patches. We got in touch with the customer service team and they blamed it on the teak oil we used. They said they strongly advise against using teak oil, even though the lorry driver said we should use it. They denied that they would ever give such advice. They were also extremely rude when they pretended I manipulated my own statements. I said to them "We received our table at the start of September and treated it 30 days later as instructed, however in the meantime "stains" /darker patches appeared on the table". By "in the meantime" I meant the stains appeared between receiving the table and applying the oil. They said it's not what I meant, that the stains had appeared after the oil was applied and therefore I should reach out to the oil provider. I still can't believe we paid £700 for a table full of stains and to be treated that way.

Lovely quality!!!

Ordered a table and 6 chairs, was a little bit of a wait due to shipping delays but was kept up to date by customer service. It was well worth the wait tho, you can tell the quality, really chunky and sturdy. I'm so pleased I decided to wait for this set and still managed to get plenty of use out of it while it was sunny!!

4 months to deliver

Genuinely took about 4 months to deliver some cushions - one of the worst organisations ive ever dealt with. No offer of a refund or any compensation.

Very disappointed

I ordered a chair and cushion for the garden in February and was advised that the chair would be delivered mid March and the cushion April. The chair arrived on time, supposedly fully assembled. I was disappointed to find that all the fixings were loose and had to be tightened to make the chair safe to use. The cushion didn’t arrive so I chased the company to be told that Covid was to blame, new delivery of mid May. That date came and went so I contacted the company again. This time they blamed Suez and stated end of June as a delivery date. I finally received my cushion mid July. I have no complaints about the cushion but I don’t expect to have to finish the builder’s job. At no time in this debacle did the company contact me with an update, I had to chase them. You pay the price and expect quality and service, I got neither.

Dumped in garden

Received garden bench seems good quality time will tell would have give 5star delivery was poor bench was just dumped in front garden not even wrapped he could not have got away any faster pity he would have got a tip these things Matter they are plenty of other suppliers out there won’t use this one again

Garden furniture 100% past my expectations

Ordered table side table 2 chairs I was helped by member of staff liz to choose was giving great advise then she helped me place order I was giving advise on caring for furniture and was told to call with any questions they arrived simply amazing quality at very reasonable prises I couldn’t have been happier delivery service was also amazing driver was so helpful polite and friendly you get a call or email advising delivery date time slot which you can ask to change if not convenient.
I then ordered a bench this arrived this am its past expectations I am so very happy with it the driver was so helpful very polite and friendly he was taking extremely good care on bringing bench through to garden as not to catch it on anything .I am now looking to replace a rattan chair just as it’s bit on small side I want a more comfortable one I feel I want to hold back until I find what I want with this company you simply can’t beat them on prise quality variety and amazing customer service thank you all from a very happy customer 😊😊😊

Ordered an outdoor umbrella in mid-June…

Ordered an outdoor umbrella in mid-June and only advised after delivery would be mid-August. Now, the original item wont be available all year and offered an alternative for delivery sometime in late Aug/Sept - but tbd. No proactive comms, i chased twice. Offered free delivery - quite insulting! Not a good experience.

Infinately better than Humber Imports

Having had a dreadful experience with Humber Imports and their 5ft garden bench (see my review on them), I tried Corido's 5ft garden bench ( the York bench). I went for it because it was constructed differently. And it paid off. Put together in 15 minutes with no hassle. Well made and easy and sturdy stainless steel fittings to hold the well cut mortise and tenon joints. Excellent customer service as well, agreeing a confirmed delivery date and using there own vans, albeit one from the same group of companies, that includes Cyan Teak Furniture.

I received my York teak park bench in ripped packaging and poorly constructed/damaged

I received my York teak park bench, the packaging was all torn and badly damaged/bashed. Upon inspection of the bench there was initial poor workmanship where joints were not sealed properly in places. I contacted Corido who said they would collect and offer refund. I was asked to put it somewhere where rain wouldn’t get to it, we had nowhere to put it, collection not for another 2 weeks. I explained I didn’t want a refund, but wanted to make them aware of the damage. My partner started to assemble it, noticed further damage, I emailed again, still same answer. I rang up, was told I could only have full refund upon collection, providing it was kept protected, I said this was not possible, I asked if, was I able to I store it somewhere, could I receive a replacement it was refused, I could only have full refund they wouldn’t sell me another even though they were in stock. I asked why and I was told that because I initially sent a photo only of the ripped box, then later sent photos of the damage, (but I wasn’t able to see it till my partner came home) they would not do anything. After long discussion they offered me a partial refund of £10 when I asked if they would consider a partial refund, the damage is 2 large chips out of the wood, some scuffs in the wood, water marks where it’s been exposed due to packaging ripped. We have no bench and can’t store this so had no option but to accept £10. Basically, you have to accept damaged goods or have full refund. No negotiation. Avoid!

My Lazy Planters teak recliner garden chair is absolutely beautiful; without doubt real quality craftsmanship, solid, durable and really distinctive;definitely a piece of furniture to last a lifetime and to treasure! Expensive, but looks it and worth every penny. Would have given 5 stars but there was lack of certainty of hours of delivery - ended up staying in all day - was delivered around 7pm... Still, delivery guy really helpful, carried it around the back to the garden. All in all am thrilled.

Dangerous teak furniture

Bought teak furniture. It is dangerous. Not used much but so far 2 chairs have collapsed with fractures of the folding mechanism. Fortunately with younger people not old. The metal parts are brittle and fracture.
They repaired one soon after purchase and said I needed to tighten the bolts. Do this tight and the bolt shears.
I am throwing the remaining chairs away.
