I have recently completed an appointed persons course with Cornerbrook. I wouldn’t recommend them enough to complete this course with , the course ran until 5 oclock and the instructors stayed behind for a further 2 hours on two occasions. this is a very complex and compact course but they delivered everything to be easily understandable.

AP course completed and passed last week. Our trainer, Owen, is a consummate professional who has all the skills and experience needed to deliver such an intensive course. I feel ready to take on the AP role for my company.

Top tip - book with Cornerbrook directly. The communication from the third party booking agency was lacking.

I would recommend cornerbrook training to anyone looking to gain there Appointed person qualification. I initially did my AP qualification back in may 2023 and I have just completed my NVQ level 5, and the process from gaining the initial qualification to competing my NVQ has been second to none. The support and guidance I have received has been excellent. Graham and the team are always there to help, thanks again to cornerbrook training.

I attended Cornerbrook for my lift supervisor training.
The staff were all very knowledgeable, friendly and went above and beyond.
It made learning very enjoyable and comfortable.

You can’t buy experience, but these guys have got it by the truck-load! Or should that be Crane. They put you at ease with their knowledge and delivery of course material. I simply cannot recommend them highly enough. I personally have over 25 years experience in the Lifting Industry having worked for GWS , Hewden Crane Hire & Ainscough Crane Hire. If I could sum up Paul and his team in one word it would be Exemplary. Cornerbrook do it right first time and are there with continuing support after the course and throughout your career be it as a slinger, lift supervisor, crane operator or appointed person.

I was very lucky that my employer used cornerbrook too train me for my Appointed person course.
From the minute i entered the building my mind was put at ease as too the week that would follow..intense was not the word' but with the guidance of the training team i found it very enjoyable and the knowledge they projected was easy too absorb..whick resulted in a pass mark.
I couldnt recommend Graham and his training Team enough..highly recommend there knowledge,training techniques..

I have done 4 CPCS learning courses at Cornerbrook in the last 2 years. I started with Lift Supervisor, swiftly moved onto my spider crane ticket and then mobile crane. I have just been back and done my AP qualification. I can't recommend cornerbrook enough. I have had 3 different members of their team train myself over the 4 qualifications I have done. Each member of staff is knowledgeable, approachable and delivery of the courses are at the right pace and with sufficient knowledge to get you through and pass. When you do pass the support doesn't stop there. They are always willing to take your call and offer professional advice if ever your in a situation you need advice on. First class and I will continue to recommend Cornerbrook across the industry to anyone who is looking to improve their skill set.

I hadn't heard of Cornerbrook until I was sent there by my company to do the A.P training and testing.
The set up is simple and effective, The training is very much the same , I found the training staff very easy to get along with and at the same time making shore the the course was delivered properly and professionally.
All in all I would recommend Cornerbrook to anyone looking to get a professionally qualification.

I completed an Appointed Persons for Cranes course some years ago. Cornerbrook training provided a more detailed and thorough course than my previous course. The facilities, course content and material provided are second to none. The course is not one that you attend and collect a certificate at the end, the trainers are vastly experienced and take time and effort to deliver a course without corners being cut or short cuts taken. If you are seriously thinking of taking an AP course, and if you want a course that covers the subject in depth, I would highly recommend Cornerbrook Training, top class!

Where do I start. From start to finish cornerbrook are great company to do your training with. From speaking to Liz in the office going above and beyond to book you in and give you all the information you require. Then matt the course trainer made things so clear and understandable. Great company. Very professional, clearly knew what they were doing and extremely helpful. Graham and Paul know the lifting game inside out. Some people on my course (Appointed Person) had difficulties with some of the material but the instructors made sure everything was understood before moving on. Highly recommend using cornerbrook.
