Once deposit taken to save for viewing will not refund.

Insisted on a £150 deposit to save a property to view for my brother who is disabled. less than 24 hours later my brother realised the property wouldn't be suitable for him and cancelled the appointment.
Explained to Cameron the reason why, told by Cameron he would have him in tears after explaining his reasons, then Cameron refused to refund the deposit.

It states that fraudulent claims would be a reason not to refund, Of course there was no fraud and the pre rental contract was not filled in at this stage. So other than canceling the viewing they had not been put out in any way.

I asked Cameron via What's app to explain the part of the contract that stated the deposit was non refundable but he chose not too. Please be warned a terrible way to treat a disabled pensioner of 78 years old.

Poor service

Rented with them for more than a year. (Cornwall Living Lets formerly Your Trusted Tenant)

During that time:

-They showed people round my room without permission/giving the 24 hour notice period while I was visiting parents.
-Repeatedly ignored the notice period in the contract and just turned up randomly for room inspections disrupting my work.
-When a new owner bought the house, they tried to only give us one month notice to find new accommodation causing unnecessary stress.
-During the last month in the property they randomly cut off the internet and blamed BT forcing the tenants to pay in an all bills included contract.

As of today no compensation has been provided for the loss of internet service and costs incurred for network equipment. They've asked for receipts, which they've received and have gone radio silence since then.

My advice would be save yourself the money, stress, hassle and rent with someone else.
