BEWARE!! 'Charging more money gets better customers' !

BEWARE!!
I initially visited for a consultation and found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful. The practice was very clean and created a very good first impression.
After my consultation with Simon, I was quoted £7056.00 for top and bottom partial dentures. Although this seemed a lot, I was happy to go ahead with the treatment.
BUT... I then discovered Simon's YouTube channel - (Modern Dentures). There was a video discussing how he prices his dentures. I watched the 30 minute video and grew increasingly more angry. To sum up... he discussed charging excessively as people would feel they are getting a better service if he charged more. He likened it to buying a cheap bottle of wine to a more expensive one. He believes you would enjoy the more expensive one because it costs more ( not because of the taste!) Charging more apparently gives more value to his service!!
He went on to explain that if he charges more to the people that take his services, it doesn't matter if the people who can't afford it walk out of the door. He's not interested in having those sort of customers anyway. By charging more - you get better customers! Oh and because of the over charging he bragged that he only had to work 2 days a week!
I contacted the clinic to share my disgust at the video and it has since been made private - so no longer viewable to the general public.
While I would never want to ruin anyone's business, I felt so strongly about his video, that I felt the need to write a review. An elderly lady was also in the clinic at the same time as me. The thought of her being ripped off makes me sick.
The clinic responded with the following message:
"Thanks for your feedback. Sorry to hear you feel that way. If you change your mind or have any questions, just let us know."
Thank you Cotswold Denture Clinic - I will not be in touch!
