We got the amazing opportunity to be part of our very first art fair at Affinity and it was great! Such a lovely experience and met so many wonderful creatives. The people who did attend were so engaged and were clearly interested in our art - we sold some prints. However, we were expecting more footfall, perhaps there could've been more promotion leading to the event. But the lack of footfall may have been due to it being fathers day! For a first time experience, this was great and we have definitely learned from it and are excited to take part in more art fairs. Thanks to Domino and the team - Ceska in particular was super helpful!

What a lovely experience! Had a great day in Riverside showcasing my artwork(handcrafted/miniture paintings) jewellery pieces and met some wonderful artists and lovely people! Was very grateful for the amazing praise and support!

Great venue and good range of artists. Those that visited were clearly interested in Art and made some sales. Could have done with more footfall and no visitors after 4pm. Enjoyed networking, great cafe.

I was a trader at the affinity art fair and felt the event was okay but I really wish it had been pushed a lot more through social media by the event organisers. The Instagram featured very little which as a seller makes it hard to push it yourself through sharing. Felt a little let down truth be told. Other markets I’ve done in the past have provided some kind of shareable material with times, dates and locations on making it a lot easier for potential customers to get all the information in one place. The venue was lovely, the staff were great and I made a few sales but the foot fall sadly just wasn’t there, obviously this could have been for so many reasons like fathers days, it being a Sunday and coming off the back of so many bank holidays before a pay day but I do feel with better marketing the event may have had more success.

I attended Art with Affinity at Embarkment West and had a lovely time meeting other creators and guests/customers interested in art. I specialise in Crochet items, and it seemed to be very popular with customers and I sold a decent amount at the event.
Everyone at the event was lovely and I had a really good time meeting people with similar interests!

The venue was lovely and had a classy atmosphere. The event was very well organised and featured a diverse range of creatives.

However, I wish that the marketing of the event was better as it was very quiet. Maybe it was because it was a Father's Day and a Sunday, so in that case perhaps the date of the event could be considered more carefully. Also, the venue was a bit hard to find, and it seemed that there were more residents just passing by rather than people attending for the art event.

I only sold two things during the event, and I realised that my work doesn't fit with the nature of the event as well as the audience. It would be nice if there was more transparency with the artist about their work and if it aligns with the event and audience.

Overall though, the event was well organised and communication was great. If these things were considered, then the next one could be better.

I attended Art with Affinity at RIVERVIEW and I had a great day . The venue is very classy and modern .
I met some very nice artists and everyone was so friendly . With special thanks to Ceska who made my day such a pleasure and I really would like to commend her she went over and above to make my experience so good . I sold a few items and I also bought a great piece of art from another artist ! very enjoyable experience well done Domino and the team xxx

With a wonderful eye for curation, Domino and the cotton on Manchester team delivered another fantastic exhibition that I was so honoured to have work selected for.
So busy was the last PV event at the gallery showing the work, that two PVs were needed this time! I attended the second - it was bustling with artists and art collectors - a great success (albeit I’m a little biased, selling both my exhibited works on a PV night - needless to say I was thrilled).
Knowing the work of Cotton on Manchester for a little while now, I can honestly say Domino and the team always work so, so hard to organise, manage, and promote their events, and build strong relationships with their artist community. Most importantly, Cotton on Manchester continually break down the traditionally perceived barriers of ‘the art world’, both from and artist and a viewer perspective. They shine a light on all sorts of art from the masses of talent in and around Manchester, from hobbyists through to professionals, making it accessible and relevant to everyone. Whether you are a first time submitter of work, first time gallery visitor, or new to buying original art, Cotton on Manchester open their doors and welcome you alongside the seasoned professionals as equals.
Keep an eye out for their events - always well worth a visit.

I was delighted to be selected by CottononMCR to exhibit along side some amazingly talented Women to celebrate Women’s International Day! The event was organised by Domino which was well organised and fun! The opening was a great success and I have made new contacts most of all I feel a part of a creative community ♥️ I would love to be involved in more up and coming projects and events with CottononMCR

I was recently lucky enough to be a part of Cotton on MCR's International Womens day exhibition. Domino organisded and excecuted the event incredibly well and communicated with the artists throughout the entire experience. The preview was a huge success and I gained lots of new instagram followers from this exhibition. I would welcome to opportunity to work with Cotton on MCR again in the future.

This was my first exhibition with Cottononmcr at Deansgate Mews, it was well organised, friendly and casual, the private viewing was a success and the whole weekend was welcomed by many people, I spoke to a few artist , met new people, hope to do many more in the future. Domino and her team are doing a great job for Manchester artists.

Took part in the International Women’s Day exhibit - it was well curated, showcasing a wide range of styles; the opening night was a massive success; and communication before and throughout the weekend was really strong from Domino. I talked with many of the artists and everyone seemed to get the same feel for he event. Great result.

I've taken part in a couple of Cotton On MCR's events as an artist - one open exhibition and most recently an all day art fair - and the team are a pleasure to work with. Everyone is super friendly and organise some fantastic events. They are a pleasure to work with and I look forward to doing so more in the future.

A beautiful exhibition. Very nicely curated in a lovely space. As an artist I have found the procedure for delivery etc very straightforward and was very pleased with how my work was handled.

Very happy to have to opportunity to participate in this event organized by Cotton on MCR. The ambiance was amazing, really nice people and a powerful selection of artists. Well done, can't wait for the next one!

This event was well organised from beginning to end and the initial information sent to artists provided an accurate description of what to expect. Communication with artists prior to the event was clear and comprehensive. Set up was well managed and fair. As an artist I felt respected. There was no application fee, only a low fee if selected which went towards administration and set up etc.There was no commission charged on sold goods. The event provided a great opportunity to meet with residents from Affinity apartments and network with other artists. There were some sales of prints but quite a few of us didn’t sell. However, people need time to think about buying a large piece of original art and may make contact in the future. This event fully met its promise to provide exposure. As someone who has exhibited with Cotton on Manchester in the past as well as participating in this event, I would recommend Cotton on Manchester to other artists.

The Art with Affinity exhibition was a lovely thing to be part of. It gave me an opportunity to chat with artists and apartment residents, which I’d otherwise never get to do.

The event was well organised with help and guidance. Domino’s correspondence and information was clear Staff were friendly especially guy on the loading bay It was disappointing that public/ potential buyers numbers were low and I only sold one print which didn’t cover hire of table
Moving forward, a question for next event is on the day how will CottonMcr staff promote the art fair and get people into the building? Also, the promo doesn’t include any images of artwork Could staff have a selection of work to show the public?

The Art Alldayer was an absolutely beautiful venue, perfect for the art alldayer, with excellent facilities. The event was excellently organised by Domino and I thoroughly enjoyed the day. I hope to participate in future events.
