First visit to a Cotton Traders shop
I've bought items on line for a long time, but never visited a shop as there are none near me. When I stayed with a friend, she mentioned that a nearby garden centre had a Cotton Traders shop on-site so we went for a visit. Luckily, I had my Gold card in my wallet (rather than on the table at home!) and I was invited to 'Spin the wheel' in the shop. This gave me GBP 5 off a purchase and my Gold card granted me a Lucky Dip which gave me a GBP 10 gift card. The staff were all very friendly and helpful; I made my purchases and am very pleased with them. It's a shame the concession isn't larger but they had a reasonable range.

The product was a cable stitch jumper of excellent quality, although the length of the sleeves was of generous size. Competitive price. Staff were excellent.

No email to say Collect order was ready
My click and collect order arrived in store but I did not receive an email or text notification. I had to message Customer Service who then told me it was ready. They apologised for my waiting for non-exisent email but gave no explanation, so I don't know whether it is usual that you have to chase up y P96our own orders.

I was obviously an unwelcome interruption to the staffs stock management.
The order appeared to take over 2 weeks to arrive at the chosen pickup so as I hadn’t received any notification I went there on spec and was advised that “they had received it about 2 weeks ago”. I was further disappointed by 2 of the more senior staff, who seemed to be stocktaking/restocking put pressure on the lady serving me to basically hurry up serving me as they needed to get on. This made me feel an unwelcome distraction so I left with alacrity to save her further embarrassment. Shame because I liked all the clothes I had ordered but think I will try another location for pick up if I make another order later in the year. Kind regards BD

Ordered on line and picked up from store in Squires garden centre Littlewick Green. So much easier and staff really nice. Saw lots of other items while picking up and have ended up spending a fortune. So nice to have this store there.
