Chasing a debt owed from a carehome

I was chasing a refund from the care home where my mother died. The difference between the online small claims and CCJ to an actual court hearing is huge and not really explained in anything I could find on the HMRC websites. Courtwingman saved my case.

I just wish I had sought your advice before I lodged the first 3rd party debt order application as I might have got it resolved in May and not at a 2nd hearing in September. But your advice on structuring the court papers for the May hearing undoubtedly got me a favourable 2nd hearing and the final success. A really huge thank you.

I spent £350 with a solicitor and got a stock list of ways to reclaim money; straight from a website. I spent £150 with Courtwingman and got real credible advice I could use as a litigant in person.

Small claims support

Alex with Court Wingman was absolutely fantastic in support me with a small claims case that on the face of it may have been simple but was in fact quite complex.

Alex supported me at short notice, providing clear, concise advice, guiding me every step of the way. It wasn't just his knowledge of the law but also his insight into the legal system that I also found extremely useful.

In addition I often found Alex to be very realistic, supportive and also understanding of my views and feels. I never felt forced into a decision.

Would highly recommend.

Court Wingman made this court process bearable

Court Wingman made a potentially daunting experience manageable for me as a litigant in person.
I had initially engaged the services of a general solicitor. With wingman's help in the form of legal surgeries I was able to outpace the lawyer who was clearly on a learning curve as well. Thankfully my case did not come to trial and having got organized as recommended I was able to negotiate a reasonable settlement with the aggressive claimant.

Dealing with a straightforward cases on a low budget

I had a plastering contract dispute with my contractor, they deviated from the agreed contract and threatened me with countercharges and snagging cost, but I believed that my case was legitimate, Finding a solicitor became a headache (i did not want to spend so much money because i believe the case was straightforward) until I found courtwingman on YouTube. My first legal surgery (with Daria)took my worries and stress away,I provided my evidence and a claim was issued with the particulars of claim( which was unbelievably astonishing because it was concised, the sitting Judge acknowledged the particulars of claim as tremendously drafted by a professional)
They have guided me through the case with a series of Zoom calls and emails, their service and advice were prompt and steadily available, and defendant was asked the make a particularised defence to my claim, according to civil procedural rules, which they settled out of court and payment made in full,

Flying Solo - A must have in anyone's library

I was pleased when Alex Woods released “Flying Solo How to Represent Yourself In Court.” I purchased the paperback edition as well as the PDF edition and can say that it perfectly accompanies the vlogs on the Court Wingman YouTube channel. The layout is easy to follow with practical examples from real life cases. It has proved to be a valuable addition to my library. Whether you have an interest in the law or have to represent yourself in court, this is a good investment and I would recommend purchasing it.
