Disappointing Experience – Avoid Without a Solid Contract

We had high hopes when we chose Covey.co.uk to build our company website. The sales pitch promised a “we’ll do it all for you” experience, which sounded ideal for our busy electrical business. Unfortunately, the reality was far from that.

We were billed £5,000 + VAT, of which we've already paid 75%. What we received in return was essentially a basic template with stock photos – something we could’ve put together ourselves using Wix, and it would have looked better. After 15 months, progress has stalled entirely. We’ve had zero contact from them for the last six months, and there's been no clear communication or timeline.

There was no formal contract – just a gentleman's agreement, which we now seriously regret. If you’re considering using Covey, make sure you have a written agreement outlining exactly what you’re expecting, because they will rely on you to provide all content and direction.

In our experience, they are not a full-service provider as claimed – just a template dropper with poor follow-through.
