Firstly, the couch is gorgeous! I got a 3 seater with the Bordeaux fabric. It’s a beautiful burgundy couch that is definitely a statement piece. The 3 seater is also a good sized couch and it’s firm but not too firm to where it’s uncomfy. Here are my honest critiques: - building the couch is easy and straightforward until you get to putting the covers on. you will really need to pull on the covers and align the stitching on the covers with the stitching on the modules perfectly in order for it to fit right, this part isn’t terrible but it takes some work. the hard part is sliding the pieces together, especially the corner pieces. it’s quite difficult to slide them together especially because you can’t really see the bracket you’re trying to slide it into while doing so. I would 1000% recommend 2 people building this, I couldn’t imagine having just one person. - After putting all the pieces together, you then put the connectors on the couch feet. This part isn’t difficult, but my main gripe about this couch is that there’s gaps in the pieces. :( Even though the connectors technically keep the pieces from disconnecting from each other, it doesn’t keep them super tight, so when you’re lying down on the couch you can feel the gap under you. At least for my height (5’5ft), when i lie down the gap is right at my lower back which isn’t great or the most comfy support. For the higher price point (I paid $2k), I’d wish they went together tighter. Other than the above, the couch truly is gorgeous and spacious. The above wouldn’t make me not buy this if I had known about it, but something to consider when investing in this couch.
