I had a very poor experience with CPS Property. We vacated the property at the end of August, and since then we have been chasing our deposit for over 4 months with absolutely no proper communication from the company.
They claim to have an “experienced team,” but in reality they are highly unprofessional. We are constantly told to email one person, then another, then the finance team, then sales – excuses like “the finance team is dealing with it”, “sales is handling it”, “X or Y will get back to you”. To this day, I have not received a single phone call from CPS Property regarding our deposit.
Trying to speak to a higher authority is impossible. According to them, there is no higher authority, which is very concerning for a company handling tenants’ money.
They are very quick to take the deposit at the start, but once you leave the property, they stop communicating completely and leave you frustrated, stressed, and ignored.
If anyone from CPS Property is reading this, please contact us and return our deposit immediately. This situation has caused unnecessary stress and frustration and is completely unacceptable.
I would not recommend CPS Property to anyone looking for a professional and reliable letting agent.
