Shame on Cracker Barrel

I would give 0 stars but then I couldn’t write this review. I can’t believe that a Cracker Barrel in Maryland (or anywhere else in the world) would refuse service to a group of special needs students on a field trip. I find that appalling and totally unacceptable. I am hereby boycotting Cracker Barrel restaurants and urge all parents and families to do the same. My wife and I have custody of our special needs granddaughter who is wheel chair bound with CP. Our outtings used to include lunch at Cracker Barrel, but that will no longer happen until Cracker Barrel removes management that perpetuated this injustice.

Went to cracker barrel for thanksgiving…

Went to cracker barrel for thanksgiving to go box. Horrible meal went into the trash, watery sweet potatoes were pureed, green beans like it went through a blender, fatty turkey, no roll or cranberrry sauce, 16 dollars wasted for this crappy disgusting meal. Fern creek, bardstown road lousiville ky location

Went there for their highly advertised…

Went there for their highly advertised fried turkey on Thanksgiving. They had a limited menu and were out of things on their limited menu including the fried turkey. Server told us they only had five servings to start the day. Ridiculous. Started serving it 2 weeks before and ran out. Management should be fired. Oh and BTW your country fried steak is gross. No wonder you weren't out of it. Ruined our Thanksgiving. Will do Chinese next year.

Food was luke warm

Food was luke warm. Friends sweet potato was cold. My broccoli was almost raw. It was barely warm. We've had this problem here at this location before. We didn't have time to send the food back but when you send it back it comes back scalding hot crazy!! Biscuits and cornbread were hot but waitress failed to bring us requested apple butter. Waitress never asked us how our food was, she would just run away real quick so we didn't have time to tell her. Not good service.

Do not waste your time!

Airport Road Location:
We put our name on the list at 11:29am and at 1pm we were told they had no wait staff to clean tables and no time frame for a table, so we left. This location has had these kind of issues for years, nothing has changed. We will not be back!

Barbecue ribs

Ordered their barbecue Ribs with greens and pinto beans the ribs were fatty the greens were not seasoned at all. The pinto beans were not seasoned and not cook long enough they forgot my fried apples was very disappointed with this meal 👎🏽👎🏽

I’m not one to leave negative reviews…

I’m not one to leave negative reviews but…. As a small business owner I know they can be detrimental to a business but….. Williamsville, NY 11/22
Let’s start out with my meal in which I ordered curbside carry out.
The chicken and dumplings were not warm (after a 4 minute car ride) back to the hotel. They lacked any flavor whatsoever. The mashed potatoes moved as one unit and were the saddest excuse for mashed potatoes ever. The carrots used to be flavorful back in the day. Not sure how you mess up carrots. Turnip greens consistent but taste very bland when not using the hot pepper vinegar from the table during a dining experience. The biscuit was burnt on the bottom and hard. I accidentally dropped it on the table and it left no crumbs. Set that aside after one bite. Cornbread dry as all dry can be. Oh the “peach cobbler”! Terrible! Canned peaches with a gelatin substance underneath a literal pie crust broken into small pieces. It was if someone took a peach pie removed the peaches and put the broken crust over the top. Really should be ashamed of themselves! The peach tea was excellent. You get what you pay for I suppose. Used to love Cracker Barrel but it no longer tastes like home cooking. Sad to say I don’t ever feel the need to go back.

worst food ever

Omg the worst food and wasted my money in Sellersburg In. I even asked the waitress to give me better chicken tenders and I was given 3 tough chewy like leather chicken. These were their chicken tenders....wow. worst service too.

My sister and I went to Cracker Barrel…

My sister and I went to Cracker Barrel in Cumberland MD last night. Halfway through the dinner, she found a hair in her food which wasn't hers. The waitress apologized and took the rest of her dinner away because my sister wouldn't eat the rest. My sisters dinner should have been taken off the bill and wasnt.

Out of Food ordered still wanted to Charge

Barboursville WV 6PM on a Sunday night. After ordering 30 min later was told out of both Items ordered and we need to order something else. After saying there is nothing else we wanted was going to bring us a bill for drinks and biscuits they brought us.
Manager refused to adjust Bill and his comment was Well you drank the Drinks and ate the biscuits. I told him wouldn't have ordered drinks if I knew I would never get my meals. Walked out never having been so offended by a represtative of a company.

My husband and I went for breakfast…

My husband and I went for breakfast this morning and it was less than mediocre two eggs, a tablespoon of hashbrowns and two frozen sausage patties. No healthy breakfast options no omelette option. The orange juice tasted like frozen water only had the choice of sourdough bread or biscuits for $10. It definitely wasn’t worth it. Don’t waste your time.

they took forever to bring our stuff…

they took forever to bring our stuff for a simple thing like ketchup or sauce and took way forever for the buiscuits and the food wasn’t cooked very well the waiter they attended to our table the waiter would be so impatient and talk smart back to us

I love their food but...

I love their food, but their website is hot garbage. I have spent over 30 minutes trying to order 3 items. The cart cannot be clicked by itself, you have to add an item to access it. Then the items disappear and reappear. And then it times out and you have to start over. Then the items that you ordered earlier will reappear and others will disappear.

The service we received when we dined…

The service we received when we dined at the cracker Barrell in Columbia very humorous server attentive but not overbearing.
The food was excellent and portions were great.
The price was very worth it the value for the money.

I would give a zero but that’s not an…

I would give a zero but that’s not an option!
I was in the Wrentham MA restaurant I saw a young girl come into the building and state it was her first day.
The manager Rodney approached her and told her her shoes were improper they were not nonslip. The young girl stated she had other shoes in the car. The young girl returned stated they were not in the car. Manager told her to go get proper shoes. The young girl left and returned short time later with proper shoes. Rodney then told her she needed to leave and go get a proper shirt.
This is a new employee on her first day there are dress codes was this given to this young girl when hired?
Rodney took the time to look at her and tell her her shoes were in proper why wouldn’t her tell her at the same time her shirt was improper?
This manager spoke to this young girl in front of customers and employees on her first day and was in my opinion rude! I am sorry but I feel this was harassment and bullying send her out once to correct the problem. This manager has no management skills this should have been a private conversation and maybe a time to review the dress code with your employee on her first day. It was obvious she felt embarrassed but good for her she went out purchased a shirt and returned for a third time. That’s an employee I would want working on my team for me!

We went to the Cracker Barrel

We went to the Cracker Barrel in Anderson,In. The interior was clean. The bathrooms were clean. The restaurant was hopping busy. Our waiter was a young man, Sam, he was so courteous, kind, & accurate in the chaos of customers.
Our order had been mixed up, so we had waited longer than usual. Sam kept checking on us, kept apologizing, and he even asked the manager to come over to apologize. Our food came soon after. OMG, the food was scrumptious! Sam continued to assist us with refills of drinks and breads. I kept joking with him about the food and he would chuckle with us. The experience was great! I only have my words to express the time I shared there with my sister and friend.

No more Cracker Barrel for us

While on a tour bus we stopped for lunch in Tallahassee and service was poor. We placed our order and approximately 15 minutes later waitress came and told us she was out of lettuce (no salad). Then about 6 minutes after that told us they were out of pot pie. No pot pie! Then our order came and scrambled eggs were fried. 3 out of 4 orders busted. We were the first to our table and the last to get food. On our way home we stopped in Jacksonville. We were the first ones seated and next to last served. Our leader finally got his but took it in a Togo bag. Waitress was overly charming with calling us sunshine, sweety, and fake in every way. Cheeseburger came with no mayonnaise, no catsup, lettuce or tomatoes x when asked to bring brought catsup and mustard 10 minutes later. Dumplings were short and while waiting and waiting she told us everything was ready but short one side of dumplings. We told her to bring what was ready. The country fried steak was hard and not good. The ticket was together although we told her separate and had to be divided at checkout. Needless to say Never again will we eat at Cracker Barrel!

Womp womp satisfaction 🤦🏾‍♂️

The Cracker Barrel Customer service representative, Emilia gave excellent service.

Everything else was horrible.

I placed my first order at 8:45am am, waited till 10:45am just to get a message that my order was cancelled?!

We were so hungry!

I had to place another order and didn't eat until 12 noon!

On top of that, the food was cold, they only came with 1 syrup for 2 orders, the eggs weren't prepared the way I requested, & the driver never called even though I requested they call before they come.

Horrible Uber eats service, horrible for the cooks not following orders, horrible for only sending 1 syrup for 2 orders, horrible for whoever cancelled my order because I didn't cancel.

The only bright spot was Emilia.

Never order through Uber eats always go to the restaurant to get the best experience.

I fantasized of eating Cracker Barrel again because the one and only time I ever ate at Cracker Barrel was when I was in Florida and fell in love with the food!

Coming to Georgia was the perfect opportunity to feast again and I stopped everything to make sure nothing stopped me from going there again.

I came allllllll the way from NYC to taste the best of Cracker Barrel located on South lake Plaza Drive, Morrow G.A. and frankly, it's going to take a miracle for me not to change loyalties and make "Milk and Honey" restaurant my new choice of eatery when I'm in Atlanta Georgia.. Hmph 😤
