Great, its really great

Create a Space did an amazing job creating two extensions on our property in Nunhead, London. We now have a bespoke office/music room and a walk-in utility room/store cupboard. Both spaces work really well for what we wanted them for. Steve and Alan were a pleasure to deal with throughout, friendly and competent. Doing both projects at the same time made it good value. We were working with a very small amount of space, so building extensions from brick would not have been viable because the internal space would have been unusably small. Using SIPS panels, we have something that functions as well, at lower cost. The Red Cedar cladding looks more attractive than brick so overall, it has enhanced the look of our property.
We were quite 'hands on' with the design and specification of our buildings, to make sure that we were happy. Luckily Steve was OK with this and did his best to change his plans to our requirements.
I would not hesitate to recommend Create a Space if you are looking for a garden room, and it is well worth knowing that it is possible to connect the room to the house and increase your internal square footage, as we did.

Create a Space seem to be a bit of an anomaly. A building company who are on time, on budget, super reliable, respectful, friendly, craftsman, facilitators, problem solvers and great guys all rolled into one!

After months of investigating garden room companies and various different builders to take on a dual working space for me and my wife as music producer and VoiceOver artist, we settled upon Alan and Steven and we really couldn’t have wished for a better experience.

Care and attention to detail at every single step from the planning to the execution of the build has left us with not only a hugely positive and memorable experience, but a really sleek and stylish building that feel super solid, super smart and secure and yet blends into the garden as if it’s always been there.

They really did accommodate every request going above and beyond to make us feel as clients it was the building we wanted and it performed as we needed it to as a working space.

I couldn’t recommend them enough.

We loved having them around, my kids love them and it’s a shame it’s going to be probably at least another 20 years before we build another one with them!

If you are looking at companies to build a garden room or do any building work for that matter, don’t hesitate to go for these guys as for the level of professionalism and price you won’t do any better.

A great job delivered on time and on budget. From the initial phone call, quote, delivery and construction, Alan, Steve and the team took care of everything and it was completely painless on our side. They were all very friendly and courteous.

It was not the cheapest quote we received, however, the quality of the service, materials and finish of the highest quality more than justified the additional cost.

I would not hesitate to recommend Create A Space to anyone who wants to build a garden space that will last for the long term.

The Team did an amazing job! They provided a professional but friendly service and were able to provide bespoke high end products which met every requirement.

We had the best possible experience one could ask for with Steve, Alan and the crew. They worked with us tirelessly to make sure that every last detail was perfect, willing to alter bits of the design to suit out exact needs. Nothing was too much trouble for the guys and it was an absolute pleasure to have them on site and get to know them.

The resulting space they have created is perfect for the multi-purpose bar, office and TV space we were after and every last detail has been finished to perfection.

Having had the opportunity to work at home during the build, I was able to watch their process of building and putting the space together and was constantly impressed at the effort that was put in every day and blown away by the skill and craftsmanship that they put into every detail, from woodwork, to plumbing to electrics.

I spent a long time looking around before I settled on Create A Space and I couldn't have made a better choice. I cannot recommend them highly enough - you would be crazy not to give these guys a close look.

i would certainly recommend Create a Space very highly. The team, Steve, Alan and Corrie, were amazing. They were so professional, reliable and a pleasure to have around. I was very happy for them to have keys to my house when I was not there. They always cleaned up after themselves, whether doing the work on the building or making tea in my kitchen. I had comments from neighbours about how good they were, even changing a light bulb for my next door neighbour who was incapacitated at the time.
Their actual work was first class and we were very pleased with the 'Garden Room' which they created after knocking down a very old and dilapidated garage. This has been put to good use over the Christmas holiday.

The end result is truly amazing and has a real "Wow!" factor.

Create a Space retro-fitted a bathroom and kitchen for my elderly parents. They were incredibly professional and kept my parents fully engaged throughout the project.
I couldn’t recommend them highly enough, the designer opened our eyes to options we hadn’t considered and we can’t believe the impact those ideas have made to the kitchen space. The build quality has surpassed our expectations. I think we will soon be getting one of their garden offices!

We love our new garden studio! Steve really looked after us and helped us through the design stage and really took the time to understand what we needed, designing a beautiful and practical space for us to enjoy. Nothing was too much trouble, we were able to tweak the design as the process evolved and he offered practical solutions and helped us keep within our budget.

Alan and Connor did a great job with the build! They were also really accommodating and made us feel part of the whole process, asking for our input at key stages to ensure we were 100% happy with how it all came together. The craftsmanship and finish of the studio is also really great, far beyond our expectations!!
