Hi all do not use this company
Hi all do not use this company, as many other people have stated they take money without clearly stating it in their guidlines, they refuse to refund but there is hope, quote the Consumer Rights Act of 2015 you have the Right to Withdrawl from good and services within a 14 day cooling off period they will try and push it off but its a legal requirement that they follow these trading standards in line with the FCA guidelines, then you can also contact the Financial Ombudsman which even if your claim is invalidated it will cost the company a minimum of £700 per claim, that's one way to take this terrible place down.

Please do not use this company as they are only after the ££ of most financially vulnerable people. I cancelled my account with them after a day as changed my mind and had paid them £19.99. They have since taken a second payment and their response to my emails requesting a refund is a "cut and paste" response saying they are sorry to see me go.

i was also tricked into this service i do not need or want. £19.99 has been taken from my bank. I cannot find a phone number for them either. I have contacted my Bank who are happy to take action after 15 days. I have sent 2 emails to them requesting to refund my money and no response as yet. I will keep trying or will have to go to the financial ombudsman.

Thieves and scum
Their business model is basically to lure in people desperate for a loan then slyly rob them of 20 quid without them knowing.

This lot are another Saving Star
This lot are another Saving Star - a company that charges you a minimal fee like £0.09 to check if your bank account is active but then a few days later, they sting you for a larger amount. I had to shut my bank account down because Saving Star kept trying to take £29.95 from my account (always late on a Friday night) and had a near miss with Credit Chum. Was looking for a loan and I almost put my card details into the Credit Chum website but I stopped myself right at the last minute. If this company were legitimate, they would refund customers immediately and there would be no need for all these terrible reviews with the cut and paste replies from Credit Chum. I reported Saving Star to Action Fraud but they aren’t interested in small fraud so won’t be taking any action. Please be careful out there.

I provided my details originally to obtain a loan and had 9p taken from my account to authorise. Since then, this company have been trying to continuously take £19.99 out of my account. I am now reporting them for fraud and contacting my bank. Absolute scammers. Be very careful. There is no contact number either. I request if you see this - CREDITCHUM, that you pay me my money back asap!!
You are going to be sued and closed down eventually anyway.

CreditScum it should be called.
CreditScum it should be called.
The same unapologetic soulless email reply to customers, blaming customers for their purposely confusing built website.
Their home of operations is in Manchester just down the road from me, very interesting indeed.
Legal thieves.

Absolute Scam!
Absolute Scam!! How these people sleep at night, I’ll never know! Life is hard right now and they take money off you without you consenting! Same story to everyone else on here, have contacted customer services and nothing, and to add insult to injury upon trying to sign in to credit chum thinking I must have ticked yes to agreeing to have this “account” (that’s good for absolutely nothing) there are no details for any of my emails…so tell me credit chum? How have I subscribed to something when I don’t even have an account with you? Absolute scum!
