Product details

Phoenix Precision Bipod The Phoenix Precision Bipod is a worm-gear-driven prone and bench bipod built for F-Class and long-range shooting. Instead of friction-locked legs, it uses a stainless steel worm gear for height adjustment: turn the knob and the rifle rises or lowers in fine, positive increments. The worm drive virtually eliminates "creep-down" under the weight of the rifle, so the elevation you set is the elevation you shoot from. A swivel fixture on the skis compensates for uneven firing points and positions. Oversized skis let the rest and rifle track straight back under recoil and eliminate the "hop" found in many other bipods. CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with stainless hardware, the bipod weighs 1 lb 15 oz (just under 2 lbs), so it is solid yet easy to transport. Mounting options The Phoenix Precision Bipod is available in two configurations - choose the one that matches your rifle: Weaver/Picatinny mount: a 2-inch section of Weaver-style rail is included. It can be screwed to the rifle stock, or attached to existing Freeland or Anschutz hand-stop rails using the optional Phoenix tee-nuts (see related products). ARCA mount: clamps directly to an ARCA rail on the rifle. Use for Prone shooting or shooting from the bench F-Class - TR or Open Load development Varmint hunting Specifications Quick cant adjustment CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum Stainless steel worm gear and stainless bolts throughout Mounts to Picatinny/Weaver-style rail or ARCA rail, depending on configuration Height adjustment: 4.7 inches to 11.3 inches Ski width: 19-1/2 inches at minimum height, 13-7/8 inches at maximum height Weight: 1 lb 15 oz Finish: anodized black

There is nothing bad to say about this bipod. It’s high quality and certainly delivers. It’s wonderful to shoot with in non tactical scenarios. The adjustments are nice and tight and give you the ability to fine tune elevation to aid in a comfortable natural point of aim. It’s a bit pricier than it should be but it works so well that it’s hard to say no

I bought this for use in F-TR rifle competition. After acquiring a (weaver-type) bipod adapter that fit my HS Precision stock, attaching this bipod with the clamp was easy. The design of the feet/skis also seem to track nicely. But the best part was being able to simply adjust the rifle up or down while in the shooting position. The last part let me focus on a good position and shooting, not wrestling with the bipod. So far in practice at 200/300yards I have seen noticeable improvement in accuracy & precision. Looking forward to the matches.

Well made and essential for fine adjustments in F-Class T/R shooting. It has made my shooting experience much more comfortable and my scores improved by nearly 20 points from one week to the next.

I purchased a similar one about half the cost. I should have saved the money and purchased the Phoenix first. Very easy to adjust, very stable very well design and made.
