I wanted a simple, intimate and informal cremation and John and Wesley gave me exactly what I needed. I had talked to a number of funeral directors, many of which seemed briskly interested in closing a deal and cashing the cheque, but John and Wesley were patient, sensitive and responsive to my queries. John led the service with warmth and humour and came to my home in person a few days later to deliver the ashes and have a chat. This was a terribly sad day for me, but John and Wesley made it as comforting as it could be and our family and friends much appreciated them too. I couldn’t recommend Capital Cremations more highly.

Wesley expertly navigated me through what would otherwise have been complicated processes towards gaining insight into how everything to do with Coroners, cremation & much more is supposed to work. He answered my endless queries with sensitivity, great patience, tact & knowledge. He kept me informed at each stage of the eventual day of cremation of the loved one & was kind enough to suggest I could have a song played, which I chose & they did indeed play. as well as John saying a special prayer. We later arranged for John to meet me with the ashes, which he did and we had a friendly conversation together which made it all very personal. I could not fault this small company and highly recommend it to anyone in the sad position of making difficult decisions at such a painful time. Thank you so much Wesley and John for making the journey easier for me and the family and for taking care of K.

John and Wesley were amazing at a very difficult time. John personally came to see me with my partners ashes. I would highly recommend them as they really care about the service they give.

My partner wanted a low key funeral and Capital Cremation offered me greatest choice of how to do this. A small group of closest friends were able to spend time beforehand saying goodbye with gentle music in the background making our final time together very intimate and I think I'll remember that feeling forever. Can't thank John and Wesley enough for their help.

Absolutely brilliant Directors! Sadly I never got to meet Wesley but I did meet with John who went out of his way to return my Uncles ashes to me.
The service they provided was impeccable! The communication was amazing and the ease and comfort they gave was second to none! I am truly thankful that I found their service.

Excellent service from Capital Cremations. Special thanks to John who came to see us within half an hour of phoning and was always at the end of a phone should you need him. Direct cremation went without any hitches and ashes sent up to Scotland without any problems. Five star service overall.

I looked at other services to compare prices and found from other people that funeral directors are like Ryanair, prices are from.....plus extras. This was not the case here.The price stated was the price paid. John came to visit me and was available 24 hours a day should I need him. Such a nice man to deal with a sensitive issue. He kept me informed every step of the way. Very profesional, he done us proud. Cannot praise them enough for their 5* service.

I have used their services twice and was very satisfied. They are very reasonably priced. I would recommend it 👌

Excellent price for a personalised service. I asked for a no frills cremation and was expecting the bare minimum but it was a lovely crematorium and included our choice of music and readings

This company is excellent. I had to arrange a funeral from the USA during the height of the covid lockdown and they did everything I needed - simply and professionally. Very affordable too. Highly recommend these folks. They made very difficult and emotional arrangements seemlessly

We are so appreciative to John and Wesley for the dignity and respect that they afforded our family throughout this difficult process. They made themselves available day and night and thoroughly cared for every concern. On top of being reasonably priced, they are warm, thoughtful, and just overall wonderful people. I would recommend them a million times over again.

This review is 2 years on from the loss of our father but does not detract from the fact that John did a great job. During a difficult time he guided us through the whole process from hospital to burial, at very reasonable prices. Thank you John.

When things like this happening it’s important to have people around you who is fully understanding and emphatic . Our lost happened during a lock down. This guys dealt with the situation like they have known our loved one , so much help , so much care and love . I’m so great full for John to even delivered ashes to us . I will never forgive what he did for me / us. I’m truly and highly recommend this service anyone who need a price stand to the earth. This guys really doesn’t wanna make profit of this sad event ! Thank you !
