Crimson Guitars, based in a customised factory in Dorset, is the premier UK manufacturer of both production and bespoke guitars to the highest of standards. We also make a full range of all the tools and accessories a budding luthier could want in their journey of sawdust and music and are continuously improving on and adding to our custom designs. We ship worldwide and are back at full capacity after the Covid-19 shutdowns in the UK. In our hunt for perfection, we have grown into the largest guitar building school in the world, hosting up to 500 local and international students each year in purpose designed in house guitar making courses from 2 days long to 3 whole months. While the luthiery school is still closed we expect to be open as usual in a few short weeks, we are still taking orders for and booking course dates though so please don't hesitate to get in touch.

My first stop for guitar tools
My first stop for guitar tools. I'm by no means a luthier, but I do like to setup my own guitars and basses, which means having a set of quality tools for adjusting truss rods, bridge saddles, etc. They are also very reasonably priced which is not something that can be said for all luthier suppliers.

An excellent course
An excellent course. Building with other people was a new experience for me and really added to the class. The instructor was very knowledgeable and provided the guidance and information I was looking for. In the end I walked out with the confidence to tackle guitar building in my own shop.

The best tools and luthiery supplies and excellent customer service.
Everything arrived beautifully wrapped and a lot of care and attention had obviously been payed to my order.
They're super responsive and knowledgeable over the phone and happy to help with any questions you have.
My order was very slightly delayed (I was expecting a slight wait due to parts being manufactured to order) and they called me, unprompted, to apologise and threw a couple of extra bits and pieces in to say sorry. This was completely unnecessary but very much appreciated and shows the dedication to providing an excellent service.
I plan to spend all my money there.
