Transparent from start to finish, tip of the top professionalism

I was one of the authors in the anthology, World Upside Down," working with Heather Holmes as the publisher of that volume. I have nothing but great dealings with her, from the start of that project till its publication, and the time after the book's release. She communicated at every step, and where other publishers sometimes dropped the ball along the way, Heather was there all the way. She earned a five-star rating based on my experience.

Heather was a great editor to work with on the Lovecraftian cosmic horror anthology, World Upside Down, and I know, as I worked with many editors over the year, from traditional to medium press to small press. She curated, edited (both the ebook and print in both paperback and hardcover), produced, designed interior graphics and the cover, distributed, and promoted it. It was a joy to work with her and to have my story, Tea Party, included in the horror book.

High-Quality Product and a Pleasure to Work With

I'm a contributor to a short story anthology which Heather curated, edited (both ebook and print), produced, designed interior graphics and cover for, distributed, and promoted. It's an honor to have my story featured in such an exceptional final product, and a real pleasure working with Heather. She has exceptional attention to detail, and is a skilled and talented designer. I would 10/10 recommend her as a collaborator and am looking forward to working with her again.

Such a wonderful experience!

Working with Heather at Tidal Lantern was an absolute joy from start to finish. She took the time to truly understand my children’s book and, through her thoughtful interview process, captured not just the story itself, but the heart behind it. What she created was far beyond a simple feature—it was a beautifully written narrative that reflected my voice, my journey, and the spirit of my work in a way that felt both authentic and elevated.

Beyond her incredible writing ability, Heather is professional, kind, and incredibly easy to work with. The entire experience was smooth, collaborative, and enjoyable. I’m so grateful for the care and attention she gave to my book trailer and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a talented person who truly knows how to highlight and honor someone’s work.

Heather was absolutely phenomenal to work with! She's been diligent in keeping all of us authors up to date on the process and progress of making World Upside Down a reality... I've been lucky enough to work with several editors in my time writing, and I can say that Heather has been approachable, straightforward, and commuicative. These qualities are not common amongst editors, and she excels at these areas! Plus, she clearly has a fantastc eye for great Lovecraftian horror! She has been delightful and I hope to work with her again soon on an upcoming anthology!
